I have purchased a lot of pellets from AGD and always satisfied with their products & service. Have shot a few thousand rounds of the light wt JSB Diablo Jumbo RS 13.43 gr. through a 51 year old Winchester 427 Diana 22 cal. The rifle has never been rebuilt yet and is under powered compared to a lot of larger spring guns. I thought I'd go up a grain and try a couple tins of the Express 14.35 gr. to help on a little more windy days. With a slight amount of additional holdover or re-sighting they seem to be spot on accurate like the lighter "RS" version. After a couple hundred shots I have decided I will reorder more of these for sure. They came packed well and arrived in nice shape.
Pros
Slightly stronger skirt than the RS version and like the weight OK for lower powered rifles. Pretty consistent and accurate.
Cons
none
Half inch groups at 50 yards. Rarely get a flyer.
After using the ProChrono DLX and learning the JSB 18s were comming out of my Gamo Urban slower than the reccomended 850-915 mph for diabolo style pellets. I tried several 14 grain pellets and these were the most accurate and reached 850 mph most consistantly.
Pros
Same quality and accuracy you expect out of a JSB18grain in a lighter package for lower tuned guns. Delivered the same ammount of energy to the target as 18grain rounds due to higher velocity.
Great product from JSB. Uniform shape clean pellets. all fit in breach the same not too tight not loose fitting. Give consistence POI .very few fliers if any.
Pros
uniform shape and fit
Cons
none
I bought a QB78 that was supposed to be extremely accurate with Crosman pellets. All I had were fliers. RWS was better, but still not as good as I wanted. Bought JSB 18.13 gr which were really very good and gave great results in my lower powered CO2 rifle. These are even better. Now I'm just waiting for the other tins to run out so I can stock up on these awesome 14.3 gr beauties. Not only are they more accurate than I am, they cycle flawlessly in my QB78 with the repeater upgrade using Marauder magazines.
Pros
Accurate to the limits of my backyard.
Cons
None. More expensive up front than Crosman, etc., But what good is cheap when they won't group? If you can't hit with these, you can't hit!
Price is right for this excellent product. Groups very well and accurate. Id shot 100 aprox. in my brand new Gamo Bone Collector Hunter. Fast and sharp.
I bought these to try in some of my lower powered 22 cal guns and they shoot great with good accuracy out to 50 yards. I shot them in my Prod and like the shot count and accuracy they provide.
Pros
A good middle weight pellet the is more accurate than some harder pellets in my guns so the barrels don't lead up as fast. This means less time spent cleaning and more time shooting. JSB is my go to pellet manufacture for all my guns.
Cons
A little light for long range work but then I have guns that are for the long range shooting so these work well for the close range work.
Great ammo, good price. Accurate, well made, clean shoots well from 4 different rifles,BSA Superstar,2 Weirauchs 77/97 and a Walther LGU a very nice pellet.
jsb make excellent pellet and I only use jsb. If they don't work know, keep then for the next rifle.
Cons
noine
Question?
Login to ask someone who bought this product.Has anyone tried these in a Umarex Octane? I broke rifle in with CPHP'S and am surprised how accurate they were. Would these be worth money to try them? Thanks
asked Timothy Shea
Just by looking at the pellet. You can see they are a more precision manufactured product.
Pros
I have been shooting a lot of different brands and types through my Ruger .22 Max Elite. After purchasing the Exact Jumbo Express I found these to be the most accurate at 45 yards and using a UTG scope 3-9X32 BugBuster. I will be buy more of these! Note I am using these for target practice only at this review.
Cons
None at this point for target practice.
