I really like these pellets
Very clean and accurate
JSB Diabolo pallets tend to get crush a lot because the thin and soft skirts so have to sort them out.The good and/or undamaged one shoot good no doubt about it.I think the manufacturer and/or dealer should find a way to ensure the safety of their quality products.Every time I ordered this JSB pallets I have to sort them out the good one and lost between 50 and 100.My Benjamin Marauder Pistol like these 14.3 gr. & 15.89 grain equally if not damaged.
Pros
Fit good in the breech and accuracy is good.
Cons
Every orders had skirts damages.
Superb accuracy from my PCP guns...this is the lightest pellet I care to shoot in .22 cal...accuracy is excellent or better...as always with JSB and their AA marked products.
Pros
Speed...
Cons
...price....pricey pellets....but they are the best shooting...
I'm convinced that these pellets were speciality designed for PCP rifles of medium power or higher as long as they are not made by Crosman. They shoot magnificently out of my Air Max .22 Varmint (SPA 900, Diana StormRider, etc..) my XS-705-2 HC Sentry Deluxe and my Umarex Gauntlet. All of these rifles push the 900+ fps with these pellets, and are accurate enough to take head shots on Junkos out to 50+ yards in light wind ( 3-7mph) conditions, using a bi-pod.
These pellets HATE every Crosman PCP I own. From the Disco, to the M and Prod. They also despise the NP and NP2 rifles. All 7 of them. All the Crosman's do pretty well with their own inexpensive CPHP and CPUM branded ammo, but can't touch the outstanding accuracy that the JSB's provide to non-Crosman rifles. That being said, as always, Your Mileage May Vary...
Pros
Wickedly accurate out of any medium to high powered PCP that isn't made by Crosman.
Cons
See above
I bought these to try in my .22 caliber Gamo Bone Collector Maxxim. The pellets were all in very good condition: uniform head and skirt size, no dents or bent skirts. They were not loose at all, and fit in my breech very well. Snug. Just a little pressure was required to seat.
Even though the pellet were a good fit in the breech, and in excellent condition, they did not shoot well from this rifle. Below are the stats of a 10 shot string from my Gamo Bone Collector Maxxim (.22):
Velocity Min - 667 fps
Velocity Max - 679 fps
Velocity Ave - 675 fps
Standard Dev - 4.21 fps
Extreme Spread - 12 fps
Energy - 14.53 fpe
Best Group (25 yds) - 1.6 inches
As a comparison, Here is what I get from H&N Sniper Magnum (18.06 gr):
Velocity Min - 634 fps
Velocity Max - 642 fps
Velocity Ave - 639 fps
Standard Dev - 2.54 fps
Extreme Spread - 8 fps
Energy - 16.37 fpe
Best Group (25 yds) - .71 inches
Pros
Excellent condition. Very uniform. They fit my breech very well. Just a great looking/feeling pellet.
Cons
Poor grouping in my air rifle. Generated low energy.
Consistently accurate 3 of the 5 almost same hole
If your barrel and these pellets get along (usually they do) their consistency in shape and weight give you much more reliable results.
My 1st choice when looking for a particular weight pellet. Always JSB 1st then H&N 2nd.
Pros
Dependable
Cons
More than most but not all guns like them.
too shorrt would be decent for rotary pistols but very very short
Pros
well made
Cons
short
Pros
Price was ok
Cons
These did not hold a tight group out of my Gamo swarm magnum pro. They were all over the paper. Not sure if the rifle not being broken in affected them or not but I did not have any luck with these.
