I have tried a few pellets in my Gamo Urban and stopped at these. They are accurate and perform well enough to be deadly on pest birds and cottontail rabbits.
I get the occasional bent skirt but as long as it’s not real bad it makes zero difference. Badly bent skirts can be easily straightened with the head if another pellet, usually. Also barrel cleaning can wait more than with hard skirt pellets I’ve tried. I’m at around 4000-5000 of these in my Urban.
I did get one tin that just would not shoot. They even looked different. I couldn't say where I bought them as I just piled the tins up. May have been a counterfeit as the skirts were thicker and harder.
They chrony at 795 average in my un altered Urban over 30 rounds from 3000 psi if this helps anyone.
Pros
Accurate in my Urban.
Cons
Occasionally pellet bent beyond repair.
At first I was a little skeptical about this ammo. Sure the reviews were good and who knows how many of these have been sold with great results. I was really surprised that in a mild breeze, these didn't have much of a trajectory change unlike some of the lighter, faster ammo I was using of similar design at 50 yards. Since trying these, they go in the bag every time. Get these and don't look back.
Pros
Accurate
mid range weight/grain
consistent
affordable
Cons
When I find one, I'll let you know.
My rifle luvs these the most. I can put them on top of each other 1/4" from 35,40 yrds easy. At 50yrds. A half inch easy. No flyers.
Pros
I've gone threw multiple tins. AND luv every shot.
Cons
None
Not as accurate as RWS
Very accurate and excellent penetration even though my CO2 rifle shoots it around 600 fps
only two other pellets perform like these and they are both JSB Diabolo's.
The lesson is learned. though I've tested so many interesting varieties, JSB stands alone as winner.
Want consistent 1/2 inch groups at 35 yards? Here the solution.
Pros
No need to look further.
They do all I want to do.
Cons
no fun to pellet shop when already got the best.
Love the Jumbos! Fun to shoot and consistent for multi-uses
It's hard to tell which pellet weight shoots best...these 15.89gr. the 14.3 gr or the 18.1gr....all weight JSB .22 caliber pellets shoot so well in my FX guns I honestly have no preference for accuracy....
Pros
Accuracy and speed
Cons
...price...premium pellets at a premium price....
Tried these in my new Gamo Swarm in .22. Worked great. They are somewhere near the middle of the weight range for pellets for this rifle. They shot 3/4" groups at 25 yards with no problems. Excellent quality.
Pros
Good accuracy, and seem to be very consistent in quality and manufacturing.
Cons
None
Great product. Excellent
