Give this pellet a try as I was pleasantly surprised how it performed in my rifle
Pros
These grouped very well at 25 yards in .30 cal in my Hatsan 135 . The gun is just getting broken in and starting to tighten up groups. This pellet has performed the best so far and still experimenting with other pellets.
Cons
Nothing
Gun used was an FX Impact M3, standard 700mm barrel. Velocity approximately 930fps.
Range was 20yrds
Pros
These 44.75 Hades shot nearly identical to the JSB Exact 44.75 making them a good hunting companion to the Exact if you need some expansion at the terminal end. The Exacts give me a slightly tighter group at 20yds. I don't have ballistic jell or 20lbs blocks of clay, but I do have a 5-gallon bucket of rubber mulch and sand to stop my shots. I pulled JSB Hades, Exacts and FX Hybrid Slugs and started measuring used pellets. The JSB Exacts predictably stayed the smallest .308"-.323". The Hades .322"-.347" with one going to an oblong .367" they had more ragged edges than the Exact pellets.
The FX Hybrid showed nicely controlled expansion opening up just like a textbook hollow point should, expansion was to .322"-.350" several collapsed in and then mushroomed out at the base.
Cons
30cal pellets are in very short supply and I have been waiting for these for about 4 months, had I known that back in January I would have bought the FX-M3 in .25 caliber. There are lots more to choose from in .25.
Pros
Very consistent accuracy and they pack a punch. The best overall pellet for my Hatsun 135 break barrel.
Cons
Availability is spotty which leads to hording.
Pros
Used it once on raccoon at about 25yards distance. One shot and done.
