From the emerald coating on the lens to the illumination options, this scope is one of the best you can buy for precision shooting. Shoot your gun in bright daylight, nighttime, dusk, dawn or the shadows. You can trust this scope to be there for you under any circumstance. Mount it on firearms, air rifles or airsoft rifles. It'll perform up to your expectations. This UTG scope has an etched-glass reticle, which is superior to a wire reticle because it's etched by a laser and is much more precise. That lets you get even more accuracy from your gun. Another way that etched-glass reticles are superior to wire reticles is when they're illuminated. The etched ones show the illumination only on the reticle. It looks like the reticle is floating. Wire reticles often have a reflection of the illumination in the objective lens, which can be distracting when shooting.

i have had 6 ugt scopes , (1) 4x12 -44mm.,( 4) 50 mm. scopes ,and (1) 6x 24 56 mm scope ALL GO BAD IN THE LAST 10 MONTHS in various ways. wind age adjustments went from l to r movement to diagonal movement on the 50 mm's after less than 2oo rounds. zero hold non existent at that point. elevation adj. stopped working all together after p.o.i. gradually disappeared below scopes field of view. no movement of p.o.i elev, at all. (no i did not turn knobs even close to their end points)the 44mm fell apart after 5oo or so rounds and was replaced under warranty by ugt with a 56mm upgrade (thanks MR. NAKAGAWA, i DO appreciate your service and the upgrade but.... ) Now the 56 mm after no more than 4oo rounds has what looks like white crazing on inside of reticle glass and illumination now puts up a glare in the shape of a 4 leaf clover complexity obscuring ANY view through scope. It still holds zero fine but the crazing covers the left upper quarter of view making anything in that region obscured from view.AND i cant even use the lowest illumination at all because of glare! I have had all but the 56 mm on a gamo bone collector bull whisper and the 56 on a umarex octane .177(an awesome rifle btw)i'm not a novice with optics at all. i know how to mount, zero and care for these .But there seems to be a serious problem with this companies equipment, The quality is zero!, Maybe the manufacturer overseas is not a competent or a quality operation i don't know I will not be buying, recommending. or using ANY optics from ugt ever again unless they get their act together and fix their quality of products. 6 scopes after 10 months is allot of chances to give a company. It's enough....no more chances! and i recommend air gun depot rethink their association with ugt. untill they get their act together!! Now i need to find some equipment that has the same features as a ugt scope . Except for their SELF DESTRUCT after 500 pellets feature that is! I do not work for or speak for any competing manufacturer. im just an air gun enthusiast who's really frustrated and kinda upset .

Pros
Starts out good but eventually goes into the toilet!

Cons
Quality,reliability,,, did i say quality?

is this scope worth the money, and does it have a clear sight picture at around 20x ? thanks (*~*)

asked jared from USA

I'm sorry but I have to disagree. I have the 4-16x50mm true hunter on a Gamo Swarm magnum gen 2 and have put over 2000 pellets through it and it is still holding zero perfectly.

I am in know way an expert on this type thing but what I did lean is to pre-load the "one piece leapers mount for the scope stop pin and RED LOCTITE IT to where it doesn't interfere with the action of the gun... that solved a lot of coming out of adjustment for me but everyone is different. I did it to a AIR ARMS TX 200HC and since then no issues... keep you fingers crossed.... also they recommend torqueing the hold down and strap bolts to about 15-16 INLBS( not foot pounds) instead of jus monkey fisting it to where you stretch the bolt to the point of breaking...... Thanks for listening Shane

no. all ugt optics self destruct after a few hundred rounds of a break barrel .i have had 6 scopes ,3 different models go boom in the last few months.I am not a novice with scopes .lots of experience so i know how to mount ,zero and care for scopes, unfortunately they cannot handle the double recoil Stay away from ugt optics! their mounts and such are quality but their optics are made in china!

Will this scope and ring set up fit on a marauder?

asked Brian from USA

You need 11 mm dovetail rings to use this scope.

Alex

until ugt gets their quality control together and improve their equipment stay away from their glass, their mounts and such are top quality but their glass is garbage.
