Well made and well put together. They have finished it with a realistic finish.
its a very great little gun. it looks and feels very good in the hand. the blowback system reacts just as the original would.
Perfect weight and balance.
Didn't love the weathered look, as it just looked like paint peeling, which is what it is, essentially.. For the first two magazines (21 rd each), the pistol was fun and I liked the blowback action and especially liked the overall shape. Then the gun wouldn't fire; part of the barrel shroud drug on the frame, slowing the slide. A roll-pin holding the shroud onto the slide was 'proud' and slipped by QC. Contacting Umarex had them say that 'It would be faster and better to send it back to AGD'. I already /knew/ that, but it wasn't AGD's fault, it was Umarex's. I /did/ send it back to AGD, though, and await the replacement. AGD did well here, it's Umarex choosing to leave the responsibility to them that irks me.
Unfortunately, I neglected to take a picture of the frame damage. It likely would have been fixable, but then I'd have no warranty (though Umarex requires you to pay shipping on warranty repairs, /both ways/ if I recall correctly).
Pros
Nice action, passes well enough for the real thing to /my/ eye, not having met one in person, AGD's service.
Cons
Some (at least one) Quality Control issues, the crosshatch pattern on the grips is rather sharp, biting ibto the hand a bit uncomfortably, the weathering is not wonderful (the matte black of hte other version is better, in my opinion), only gets about 35-40 shots from 1 12gr CO2 canister (probably more if you allow the cylinder to warm between shots.
I am impressed with this air pistol mostly because of it's authenticity and solid construction. I wish they would have left off the inscription World War II and put some German markings instead.
Pros
Sturdy and authentic.
Cons
Not much power at Red Ryder velocities.
the first thing you notice about this pistol is excellent "weathered" finish. next is the comfort level when holding it: balance, feel, it just feels good in your hand. loading, install co2 are easy, and with the blowback action it is great fun to fire. no feedback on accuracy just yet. it has immediately taken a spot with my PPK and tanfoglio as one of my three favories. BUY,ENJOY!
Pros
all the above
Cons
none so far
I have a large collection of German firearms. I don't like to fire them so I thought To try some replicas to shoot. This "war torn" luger P08 looks identical to the real thing. In a pistol vice at 20 yards it holds a fairly good group for a copy. I am very pleased with it.
Pros
looks and shoots very well for a replica. The main thing is I found it fun to shoot. I was surprised by how well and for how long it held pressure. I will be ordering a p38 replicate shortly, which I will also report on. I found using steel BB's stopped any jamming.
Cons
The magazine seems a little awkward and slow to load. It could use a small hole to hold the tension spring back while loading.
I love this gun made out of Full Metal feels just like the real thing and I love the way you can feel strip it I got the distressed version and it looks awesome it looks just like an old World War II German Luger
Pros
I can't say enough about this gun the distressed look makes it look very very realistic like an old German Luger made out of Full Metal awesome I also love the fact that you can feel strip it just like the real thing
Cons
The only thing I don't like about it out of the cheap plastic handles the handle should be made out of wood that would make the gun so much more realistic
This pistol has a very authentic look and feel. (Especially the weathered version.) Quite a few of my friends thought it was real (one even offered to buy it!).
WARNING! - Be VERY careful not to use CO2 that could be over charged at the factory. I used Swiss Arms CO2 and it seemed to hold even pressure longer
than Crosman. Crosman CO2 was more powerful, (in the beginning only) but this was fatal to the Luger's blow back action. Umarex was very cooperative with
the warranty.
Pros
Weathering makes it look very authentic.
Mag fits in spare mag holder on original holster.
Cons
None

Great looking (especially in person) and glad I got it. The magazine is easier to load than others, though wish there was a catch to hold the follower/spring.
At first, I was getting BB's shooting out at all angles with no accuracy and only about 40 shots per CO2. I applied a bit of spring and chamber oil to select parts and that seemed to help. Generally speaking, get good accuracy at 20' and am around 50 shots per CO2.
Minor note, but the knurling on the molded plastic grips was surprisingly sharp compared to others.
Pros
Great looks Accuracy (most of the time)
Cons
Occasionally inconsistent performance
