This is a great marksmanship tool for sighting in any pistol. I recently purchased a Crosman CO2 pellet pistol and wanted to 'zero' it in before I started shooting freehand. I've done a lot of casual target shooting in my time, and aside from putting a pistol in a vice there aren't too many ways to stabilize/lock down a pistol to see where the rounds are grouping. This rest is made out of sturdy plastic that is lightweight, it is easy to assemble and stores neatly when dismantled. It is adjustable over a wide range so it should fit most air pistols. The support yoke is covered in rubber so the barrel of your pistol won't slip or move around once you put it in the rest. I was able to analyze my grouping and adjust my sights easily. Aside from the occasional 'winger' I was eventually able to to put all my shots inside the bullseye on a ten meter air pistol target using this pistol rest. When I started shooting freehand, it was a whole 'nother matter cause my grouping spread out. At least I know the gun shoots straight with the pistol rest, now I've got to steady my aim!!
The rest is well-made and does the job it is intended to do. It was quite helpful with sighting in my new FAS 6004. It is one of those items that is good to have, but you may not use it often. However, the reasonable price and usefulness when you need it make the rest worth having.
