Airguns are the furture of hunting,
Pros
They work great, A rat does not care what type pellet it got hit with,
Cons
Sometimes the lid sticks
So be sure of what you are getting.
Pros
The price is nice and to break in your air rifle why not.
Cons
Dicks sporting goods advertises these as Super Point. Which is the pellet depicted on the container. But open the container and ,supprise. What's inside is just the plane jane of crosmans line.
I’ve been using these for years, they’re inexpensive and highly accurate out of my rifles. I get mine from my local Walmart when they’re in stock. 250 pellets cost $2.97 plus tax. These make it very cost effective for me for plinking and small game hunting. I average 1/4” groupings with ease at 25 yards. Definitely worth a buy if you’re looking to plink and hunt on a budget!
Pros
Inexpensive,
Accurate
I mostly shoot lower powered guns at 10-20 Meters. While these are not the best pellet in any of my guns they are always very good in all of them both pistols and rifles. They are short enough for rotary clips for Umarex pistols and the Crosman 1077.
Pros
Good all around pellet
I have not been particularly impressed with this pellet. It has been used in mostly low to mid-power rifles and pistol. Ruger Explorer, Crosman 1077 and 760 and Ruger Mark 1 pistol. I have tried in higher power guns with terrible results, but the weight of the pellet is not suitable for higher power guns. I was expecting more in the lighter power guns.
Pros
The price is good.
It is consistent in the shape, at least to the eye.
Cons
The accuracy bests at average even in lower power rifles. And yes, with the crosman Destroyer pellet, I can hit a 1.5" (Gatorade cap) target at 30 feet 9 of 10 times. These were good for ~6 or 7 of 10 at the same distance. I only use these at 10 yards or less as it is purely disappointing beyond that. I have a bunch of them and they are my least favorite pellet.
Good quality
Quantity
Deformities are rare
Shots well in both in my kids .177 air rifle and air pistol.
Pros
Good price pellets all were uniform. Shot well.
Cons
Fit was a little loose.
I'm not a competition shooter, or hunter for that matter. I just enjoy occasional target shooting and keeping rodents away. In my opinion and my experience, I think these pellets are a great bang for the buck! They are accurate enough for me and you can't beat the price!
Pros
Performance and price.
Cons
Zip!
Long time favorite. Outstanding performance and affordable price. Tight groupings at thirty yards with my Gamo Varmint Hunter XP.
Pros
I like their weight, performance, and price.
Cons
No dislikes
Question?
Login to ask someone who bought this product.Does anyone know if these pellets are lead free? I have children that will be handling these and I just wanted to know
asked JoshuaSadly not I bought them for my child and I and I make him wash his hands after every time we shoot with these.
aron from USANo, they are not lead free.
Casey from USAI just checked the label. The top of the tin says, "Pointed, Premium Grade Lead Airgun Pellets." These are indeed lead pellets. There is a warning on the bottom of the container, as follows: "Contains a chemical known to the State of California to cause cancer and birth defects (or other reproductive harm.). Do not inhale dust or put pellets in mouth. Wash hands after handling."
Daniel from USA
Test them through a few different guns before giving up on them. Generally works in everything I have run them through, except for the SIG MCX, MPX, and M17, which all happen to have belt feed magazines, but that may just be a coincidence.
Pros
If your gun shoots them well, they're a good option for the price. As they are not what I would consider a "premium" option, the occasional flier is to be expected. For a gun that doesn't like them, just give up and move on.
