Love this gun. It's well worth the cost. I shoot this more than my 2 pcp and 2 co2s. RWS supermags work best so far.
Pros
Light ,easy pumping, not loud, fairly accurate,
Cons
Scope works but I upgraded
Pros
Good little air rifle
Cons
Wished the scope was a little better. Appears to be not adjusting. Was shooting to the left and would not adjust no matter how many turns you made on the adjusting screw. But it's ok....kids need to learn how to shoot with iron sights anyway.
This gun is a ton of fun to shoot, is amazingly accurate, and will humanely take SMALL game (chipmunks, rats, mice) up to 30ft. The open sights are excellent, and I've also fitted one of mine with a red dot. I'm getting accurate and consistent target shots out to 60ft (but don't try to take game at that distance). The solid stock gives this rifle a quality feel, and in spite of its small size it shoulders very well for this 68-year-old. The small size and light weight is also perfect for children. Outstanding value for dollar; highly recommended!
Pros
Love the integral open sights with front fiber optic sight; makes i SO EASY to aim! Solid (not hollow) stock; feels great! Very easy to pump! Outstanding accuracy, low noise, and predictable trigger.
Cons
A "nice to have" would be fiber optics on the rear sight.
This is an awesome gun. I think it shoots better than my crossman 2100 classic. And I'd just nicer all around. I highly recommend this for a good out of the box pump pinker.
Pros
Very accurate, quiet, and easy to pump. Great factory sights. Has a good solid feel.
Cons
It's hard to fill with bbs all the way. And difficult to load to load pellets in the breach. And the stock is a tad short if you have longer arms.
This air rifle is just all around awesome. Has plenty of power and even better you can choose the power by how much you pump it. The front and rear sights are nice and accurate and the optional scope (once zeroed) is quite accurate too. I've had a ton of fun target shooting with the Daisy Powerline 901 and I would absolutely recommend it. I'm sure this air rifle could be used for small hunting/pest control too.
Pros
Sturdy, nice looking air rifle. Accurate. Good value and tons of fun!
Cons
Where the stock connects to the rifle forestock could be a little more solid. When pumping, you can feel a bit of movement. Does not affect performance though.
I'm upgrading to a break rifle, pellet, but I will save and use this gun until the day I die!
Pros
I bought this gun a few years ago, never had the yard to shoot it until now. Either way, the variability in the pumps is key for someone like me, until I realized lead pellets dont ricochet lol. I love this gun, the set it came with is awesome too. Highly, highly recommend for anyone, literally, because of the pumps. Also, this website [airgundepot.com] is very helpful on information about any gun! [I ordered off Amazon but this website helped me pick out my new toy]
Cons
10 pumps is kind of annoying if u actually shoot full force
Aight I’m gonna tell y’all like it is. I got this kit when I was 12. I got into this “pellet gun faze” my grandpa called it. I got this for Christmas and it’s one of my most cherished gifts. I learned to shoot on the thing. I’ve gotten probably 1000 birds with this thing. And this isn’t the only pellet gun I’ve had. I had this one then my friend had a gamo socam tatical that he gave me. And that was a little less accurate but it had a little more power and was easier to load so I used it for a while then it broke. So I liked the break Barrel design so I went and got another gamo I got a gamo wisher fusion. And it sucked. It wasn’t accurate at all and it broke in half a year. So I bought a .22lr. And time went by and I desided I wanted another air gun for birds and small game because they were so quite. So I bought a daisy 880. It’s not bad but it was nothing like my 901. So early this week I took it all apart cleaned it out and It works I’m now 16. It last
Pros
Most accurate air gun I’ve ever had. Descent power. Quite Cheap. And it made a lot of good memories and I’ve killed a lot of squirrels and birds with this thing. But if your gonna hunt squirrels u gotta shoot them in the head
Cons
U know this is a tough one but I wish they would have made the dovetail mount out of metal And that scope that comes with it sucks. Buy a gamo 3-9x40. They are nice scopes I had one on my 17
I am still trying to cite it in. Since the BB trails so fast it's difficult to get it correct. Other than that to get full power you need to pump it 10 times as listed in the instructions.
Pros
High power
Cons
Having to pump it up 10 times do get max power.
Shoots hard, cheap, and pretty accurate. Pumping gets tiring, but it's not bad.
Pros
Cheap
accurate
powerful
Cons
feels a bit cheap
pumping takes a while
Question?
Login to ask someone who bought this product.I want to use to shoot pigs at a distance of 50 meters, which rifle is suitable for use?
asked TG Azizam from MalaysiaWould i be able to kill a pigeon or other small bird with this using pellets at under 20 yards?
asked albyDepends on the weight of pellet you use..... Steel bbs will definatly kill w center mass shot.
Jacobyour better not shoot any bird/ game, ever... yes it could kill. hurt/ injure/mame... don't do it, ever, unless you are going to consume game...be safe...thank you.
ZekeYup, all day long with pellets. They do make specific "hunting" pellets that help insure a clean kill with less suffering.
KenIt's a powerful gun so I would assume it could.
Martinyes definitely if you hit them i have killed a lot of pigeons with my gun.
HaydenI am going to buy this gun, but is 750 FPS a good speed? And is this gun very accurate? I was also wondering if it was easy to pump.
asked UnknownThe pros all say 600 to 900 ft. is all you need. I have the 880, shots 800 ft, is accurate, and I love it, but I keep hearing that this one is a step up from the 880.
Bonnie from USAThe cops is good enough to hunt small game but I am looking to purchase my first air rifle, sorry I've afraid I can't help with the other questions
MartinHi, my son is 15, turning 16 next month and he's been looking for a pellet gun. He's had airsoft guns and has had fun shooting cans around the house and screwing around with his friends. But he wants something a little stronger and accurate so he can hit a large bottle from far away. He also knows he won't get to shoot anything without having to cock it. So tell me; will this be the best pellet gun I'll be able to find for under 100 dollars? And how far away do you think you could hit an envelope with it?
asked JaneHere on AGD's site is the Crosman 1077 (https://www.airgundepot.com/1077.html) for about $83. It's a time tested design. It's also a CO2 powered, 12 shot magazine, pellets only. It means no pumping between shots, you get roughly 60+ shots per CO2, extra magazines so fast reloading. Accurate enough i own 3, one is easily 25+ years old (my favorite) and can take a scope (dovetail mount). If you want to stick with Daisy, I'd choose the 880 model, $55, much easier to pump up. That or another Crosman, the 2100, $60, faster speeds, accurate, another 10 pump model, (https://www.airgundepot.com/crosman-legacy-100-year-anniversary-edition.html) that has a time tested design. I have another version of this (the 2200, .22 cal) that is also over 25 yrs old. Hope that helps.
James from USA
Really no downside to the gun, its fun to use in the backyard
Pros
Easy to handle with one hand and fun to play with in the backyard
Cons
Needs a bright yellow fiber optic site and I am gonna get a better scope
