I do not understand the negative reviews! This has been a great purchase for us. At 20 feet I can stand and shoot 1/2" groups with game hard point hunting pellets,or RWS meisterkugeln's....think I spelled that correctly. Has heft and feel of a real handgun, but is easy to load and feels natural in the hands. Only demerits would be for the trigger feel. Haven't had it apart to tinker with yet, even though we have had it for 2 yrs now. Great buy, and yes my crony shows over 500 fps with the. 8.4 gr RWS's.
I have a PT 85 which is fairly well built, nice and heavy, and great for trying to improve accuracy with a blow back. . This gun is light, very cheap plastic and the trigger is about the worst trigger I've ever experienced. The rear site is supposed to be adjustable, but it is impossible to do without it falling off!
Pros
None really. This gun can not shoot straight.
Cons
Poor quality. Terrible accuracy. Tragic trigger.
I enjoyed the pistol but it was not something that I would recommend people
Pros
it was nice pistol to shoot very fast but not my type of gun
Cons
the plastic feel made it feel real cheap and it needed a metalvideo to it
This is a very simple gun to use and operate. The accuracy is great within 25 ft but drops off fast with 7g pellets. The sights are hard to see in dim light, I was able to dip a toothpick in some fluorescent green lure paint, to drip onto the existing white dots, it really made a big difference in fast target acquisition, I'll post a pic I took from my cheap cell phone if able.
Pros
Good quality for price
Cons
weak on power.
I've found this to be a great "fun" pistol. It's light, easily loaded and charged with the co2 cylinders.
Pros
Easy to use, reasonably accurate over 10-15m (30-45ft)
Cons
Despite the advertised "no jam" system my pistol regularly jams using gamo .177 pro magnum penetration ammunition. This is reduced by using the double action option as I can check before firing that the barrel and the pellet are lined up correctly. It does mean that the repetition speed is drastically reduced. Despite this I'd still recommend this as a beginner/entry level pistol or to teach youngsters shooting & safety before moving on to other firearms.
Got the airgun last week and have been enjoying knocking cans in the basement. Good looking piece and feels good in the hand. This is my first air pistol so I can't compare it to anything else, but so far so good. Maybe a bit more power?
Pros
Looks, feel, and balance.
Cons
Trigger
Great for pinking and teaching young ones about shooting, fun, and safety.
Pros
Good velocity. Holds air for extended period. Gamo quality and function preferred over poor quality of Crosman.
I wanted a handgun for target practice, one with adjustable sights. I am very pleased with this gun.
Pros
I like the up and down rear sight adjustment. The three extra drums that are included with each gun are also very nice.
Cons
I would like to have had a side to side adjustment.
Very fun to shoot with and has a lot of power behind it.
Pros
8 round clip
fells solid

asked IanWhere can I get a scope, silencer and laser sight
asked NatIf you want those accesorries you can buy a pt-85 with all those items on it
WyattWhile you can get a scope, red dot sight and lazer from almost any on-line air gun retailer, your money would be best spent putting these accessories on a better quality pellet gun. Silencer - there is no provision to attach one to this barrel, since it is recessed inside the 'slide'.

Scott from USADoes it do a blowback? Like does it automaticly put the pin back?
asked MattIf you're looking for blowback action, check out the Gammo P-25 and PT-85 series pistols. "Blowback" is usually included in the description. I'm not sure what "pin" you're referring to, but CO2 pistols with blowback have slides that move to simulate the way most actual semi-automatic pistols function. Typically this results in fewer shots per cartridge, as some of the gas is being used to operate the slide, but some people feel it adds to the realism.

I've had my PT-80 for 3 years now, and it is well-made and still shoots like new. The grips are comfortable and the weight gives it a solid feel. This is the only CO2 pellet gun I've ever owned, and has potential for outstanding accuracy. Shooting all 8 rounds thru the rotary magazine is smooth and I've never had any complaints about feeding, no jams. 80 rounds per C)2 charge is a little optimistic if you shoot, then put the gun down for a day or 2, but is an accurate count if you fire the entire cartridge in one shooting session.
This solid little gun points and handles easily. The one fatal flaw is the absolutely lousy single action trigger. With a better trigger with reduced pull weight and crisp let off, this would be an outstanding little gun, undoubtedly with impressive accuracy. But if you want anything approaching a target-quality performance, the trigger will be a big disappointment. I do a lot of .45 ACP pistol shooting, but not as much as I have in the past, so a good air pistol could be a good practice and ongoing training aid to be able to keep sharp and at an optimum level of performance ... but not this pistol. If you want to do more casual plinking, it DOES work best in double action, and would be OK for any old school revolver shooters who shoot double action.
Boy it, shoot it, love it for what it is, but be aware the trigger is what holds this otherwise fine gun to ho-hum target status.
I can't shoot it accurately enough to be able to evaluate the best pellets for it, but it does well with the 7.0 gr. RWS Diablo Basic Pellets, the 7.56 gr. Gamo Hunter Impact. The Gamo 7.71 gr. Match Diablo are best for double action plinking
Pros
Solidly built, with great detail. Solid feeling and made to last for many years of use. Rotary magazines fill easily and work smoothly.
Cons
I can't say anything nice about the horrible single-action trigger. This little gun would be awesome if it had a decent trigger. As it is now, the trigger is pretty disappointing. I would recommend it only for casual plinking. For target, the trigger is a letdown.
