Oh Ya Baby! This did the trick for me. I have a Gamo Big Cat 1250 .177 that has destroyed 3 scopes, the cheapo that came with it, a Simmons 4x32 and Barska 3-9x40. But this CenterPoint 3-9x40 seems to be holding up so far after a hundred shots. Until I got this scope my gun would shoot fairly accurate once in a while but then it would be erratic and put pellets all over the place. I was about to give up on springers and then I saw this refurbished scope for sale at a very low price. Took a chance on it and so far and I am happy with repeatedly grouping 5 consecutive shots and covering them with a dime at 30 yds. Then at fifty yards I just raise the scope up to the first mil-dot and bingo another 5 shots will group in the bulls-eye covered by a quarter. The condition of the scope was very good shape and seems to work perfectly. The elevation and windage knobs have very positive clicks so they stay put(no locking dial). There is no illuminated reticle as in the picture but I knew that from other posts. The scope is very clear but visual quality does go down a bit at 9X but is still good. The parallax adjustment is smooth and the numbers are accurate up to about 30 yards but at 50 yards I have to turn it to almost the 75yd setting to be parallax free. No big deal on the parallax numbers not being spot on. I've seen expensive scopes that were off. The quick eyepiece focus for the cross-hair is nice to. You will need fairly high scope rings to mount this on your gun probably. I used the mounts that came with my Gamo but had to put shims on the rings to raise the scope so to clear the objective. Has been working just fine for me. For 35 bucks this was a good deal and I am pleased with it so far. It's a nice looking scope too. Hope it holds up.

Pros
Eyepiece fast focus, nice adjustments on everything, good clarity, solid and nice looking.

Very nice scope, especially for the refurb price. Can't tell a difference from new as not a scratch on it. Still zeroing in on a Crosman Nitro Venom .177 but at 1/2 inch groups at 30 feet already.. Would definitely recommend.

The scope sent to me didn't resemble the scope in the picture. I was looking for a side adjustable A/O like the one in the pic. This is the scope the Benjamin Trail comes with. Not a bad scope for the money, but not what was pictured and I already have a bug buster. I once owned a Benji Trail and these come as standard equipment on the Trail.

Pros
Well packaged and sent quickly

Cons
Scope pictured was not the scope sent

This does not match the picture advertised. It is is not illuminated at all. This scope has a nice clear picture and the Adjustable objective works great. It comes with weaver rings though, so if you have dovetails be sure to order some with this scope or an adapter.

Pros
Price is great

Got the scope in working condition, but dirty and not refurbished to any degree of their refurbs sold by AGD.

Pros
For the price it works, how long is the question?

Cons
Scope that I received is not the one in the picture, mine has two terrets and no iluminated reticle knob. My scope came with weaver mounts that were had rusty screws and were missing the inner anti-skid felt. The scope also has scratches that were covered with black magic marker. As for the lens they were dirty or just plain filthy- good luck that they cleaned ok for this would have been the deal breaker. I have bought refurbs before and this scope is an exception to the general good quality of refurbs from AGD. Bought a RWS 48 refurb from AGD a while back that was mint,so I figure this scope is a slip.

Got one and the only thing bad was I had to order two more. Great scope, great price. Easy to adjust. No covers to remove. Just use thumb and finger. Sweet!!!
And fast shipping!!!

Pros
Clear sight!!

Cons
No locks. But I've had no problems with them moving at all. And you will need 11mm dovetail mount, comes with weaver mount.

Has anyone tried this scope on a firearm? Would a rifle caliber destroy the scope or at the very least never keep zero? I bought an extra and am itching to try it on a 7.62 x 39.

asked jefferson from USA

A springer airgun which is where these usually go is far more abusive than a firearm. So yes it will work. The lens quality on cheaper scopes varies from ok to poor and gets worse quickly as mag power goes up. If this is the scope they bundle with their airguns like the Trails then it's bad enough that people usually won't go above 6X. I have two that came with Trails, and while the price was right and they work fine, I don't go past 6X either. Considering the sheer volume of returns on Trail scopes I imagine they are getting referb'd. Also the price and description tell me it's the Trail scope, not' the one in the picture. Price is good tho, and it would make a great short range scope, like 22LR.

ROBERT from USA

I am interested in getting this scope to replace the cheap 4x32 vthat came with the rifle, any suggestions or recommendations about it. I have read the reviews and not many have anything negative other than aesthetics or advertised pics not a good representation.

asked tim

This is an excellent starter scope IMO, especially if your on a tight budget. It's not the best you can get, but it surely isn't the worst.

Grieg from USA

Sorry for not getting back to you sooner but I just received the scope yesterday. You can read my review I just posted "One heck of a deal" The scope I got was in very good shape, no scratches or anything. Can't say much against it as long as it keeps holding zero. You will probably need some high rings to prevent the objective from hitting the top of your receiver. I just used the ones that came with the cheapo scope on my Gamo Big Cat but had to make some shims out of sheet metal to fit the bottom rings to raise the scope. Working great so far. Looks like the scope is out of stock now. Hope you got one.

Rand from USA

This scope is well worth the money. Buy it and you won't regret it. It has the clarity and features of scopes 3X the regular price and higher (compared to optics in my gun safe). It is NOT illuminated like the ad says. Even aesthetically it is a great looking scope and I can't find a reason why it would be a "refurb." It's a great looking scope and mates well to my Benji Disco with medium UTG rings. An outstanding choice/deal for any rifle.

Angel from USA

I just recently purchased this scope for the same reason and its great. For the price it is well worth it. So far i have had no problems and its a great step up from the 4x32

Aren from USA

I have 2 of these scopes that came on Remington Summits, one in .22 and one in .177. I target shoot at 20 to 25 yards and can shoot .5" groups at that distance. I have been shooting them for over a year and they are still going strong. I bought 2 of the refurbs to replace my 4x32 scopes on my Beeman Sportsman 1000 and Beeman Sportsman RS2. They just arrived today so I can't report on them yet but I expect the same performance from them that I have gotten from my other 2 scopes.

William from USA

It is true that the picture in the listing is not the same scope. I received a scope with only two adjustment turrents but other than that all info is correct. Excellent clarity and fine Mil-Dot reticle. I am extremely pleased with scope at this price. I have it mounted on a monster of a springer right now and has held up so far, over 250 shots.

LeRoy from USA

I own a crosman fury II blackout and was wondering if the scope could properly fit as it comes, or would I have to buy 11 mm dovetail rings to fit it?

asked chris from USA

You need the rings. It would have been nice to know that up front. Apparently it is assumed as to what size the mount is on these scopes but how difficult would it have been to include that information in the specs? Now that I have the scope, I am looking at another $12 for rings AND $13.50 shipping - NOT!

DJ

I don't believe this comes with rings so that's not an issue. The rings that came with your gun, if it came with any, will be too short because the front bell on this scope is too big. The scope normally needs about 14mm minimum clearance between the guns tube and the scopes tube, and my favorite rings for this scope are the medium height one piece rings CPM1PA-25M which give about 14mm clearance so they usually work, but not always. I like that they're low for looks and accuracy, but if you want rings that will fit for sure then get tall rings.

ROBERT from USA

You would have to buy 11mm rings. Its set up for the Benjamin trail series or standard rifle mounts. Decent scope for that price. Good luck, hope this helped.

John from USA

Yes you would have to buy new rings. The rings that come with the scope fit a standard weaver rail.

Leonard from USA

Rings that come with this scope are weaver so you will need 11mm rings to mount but the scope is awesome for the price I hope this helps.

jeff from USA

The scope came with picatinny/weaver rings. Assuming they all come that way, you will have to get 11 mm dovetail rings or a 1 piece mount. I prefer 1 piece mounts over rings as the 1 piece mount seems to help keep the scope zeroed in.

Eric

This scope comes with Weaver rings, so you will need to get 1" diameter, 11mm dovetail rings. I purchased a set of medium Leapers Accushot 1" rings, and they are a perfect fit for my air rifle ( XS60C PCP). The scope itself has been excellent out of the box. I sighted it in after finding the right pellet, and it holds accuracy very well. It is easy to adjust, and the optics are clear. The picture is misleading, because there are only two adjustment knobs mid-body on the scope; elevation and windage. The third is apparently for the lighted reticle model. This is a great value scope even with having to buy the rings separately.

Derek from USA

Mine did not come with rings, so you will need 1" rings that fit your dovetail. Also, the lens covers that came with the scope were not flip open.

Brian from USA

Mine came with the dovetail rings and mounted beautifully to my Stoeger X20S just fine. No need to purchase any.

Donald

You'll have to buy the dovetail rings --these come with weaver mounts.

Roldan from USA

Is this scope the one in the picture ie open turrets(no caps)

asked joe

Yes this scope has open turrets. Also, for the price you just can't beat it! I have several of these now and have two more on order. They have clear optics and all of mine once sighted in has never shifted and had to be adjusted. I have much more expensive scopes also but keep buying these now.

John from USA

Yes. This scope has open "tactical style turrets. I have three of these and have two more on the way. You just can't beat this scope for the price. Clear optics and accurate tracking while adjusting turrets back and forth.

John from USA

The description for the scope is incorrect, it does not have flip open caps. It comes as shown in the picture.

Jim from USA

The two I received are just the picture.Target turrets;no dust covers.

Kenneth H from USA

Be advised the picture in this item is misleading what you get is a Center Point 3-9x40MM A/O Rifle scope without the IR feature turret on the left hand side this scope is an open turret scope no caps non locking. I have purchase two of these and have no regrets. Great Bargain.

Harry from USA

The picture is not accurate. There are no caps, the whole turret moves with each click. The third turret pictured is supposed to be for illumination of reticle. This scope is not illuminated. It comes with weaver style rings which is not in the description either. Mine works great, ordered a second and debating a third.

Timothy from USA

No it has removable screw on caps and the scope they sent me was no the same one that is in the picture. if you notice the one shown takes Batterys that is misleading , I sent the scope back . I went to wal mart and bought a 4x16 center point and much happier with it .

TERRY from USA

the one i got is

Chris from USA

is this the same scope that comes on the Benjamin trail np

asked Michael D from USA

I think this one might be a better quality version because everyone is saying it's very nice, which they don't say about the one bundled with the guns. I have two that came with guns and they both suck in optical quality, but an older one that is just fine. So maybe all the newer ones suck, or maybe the bundled ones are made elsewhere. Like most things made in china it's a roll of the dice...

ROBERT from USA

Yes it came on my Trail np. I have nothing but good things to say about this scope, and I own several with two more on the way from Airgun Depot. One of them I have was a refurbished one and it looks and performs as good as new! Thanks Airgun Depot!

John from USA

I purchased a trail np and it had this scope bundled with it. Mine has been a very good scope and have purchased more.

John from USA

Yes this the exact same scope the comes with the Benjamin Trail NP package.

Harry from USA

Yes, this is the same scope as the Trail NP scope.

Timothy from USA

Yes it is the exact Scope, I purchased two of them, so far they are flawless.

Harry from USA

Yes it is the same

John from USA

I think this is a better scope than the one on the Benjamin trail np This scope is Refurbished The pros at Air Gun depot has went over this scope and made it better than new .I purchased a Benjamin trail np in a .22 cal. and am very happy with the performance and power from a Refurbished NP gun. And service is fantastic !!

TERRY from USA

Good value. Comes with WEAVER rings, so make sure you order a set of dovetail rings if you need them. Mid height rings should work on most installations.

Art from USA

yes it looks like the one that is on my shooting buddies that is why I got it
