Buy this gun.
I bought this for my wife since she finally agreed to learn to shoot. I have a full frame Walther PPX, and I wanted something cheap with blowback to get her accustomed to the action of racking a slide, and feeling some recoil. While this gun doesn't have a crazy recoil, it's enough to get an appreciation for good form. The pull on the trigger is incredibly realistic to my PPX (I know they're different mechanisms but they feel similar enough that I won't complain). Grouping started off to the left, but after the two mags I was shredding the bull at 20 feet (which is more than enough for a 350FPS gun).
I think I want the real PPS now.
This thing feels great, and fits in a cheap-o IWB holster. The training applications are seriously endless. It's a little loud, but hey, so is the real thing. Loading the mag is tedious, but considering the price (and all because it's a refurb and pink?) I am not complaining.
Again. Buy this gun.
Pros
Great for training.
Great for plinking.
Great for curing the range itch.
Great for making you a fan of Walther.
Great for introducing new (or hesitant) shooters to the world of handguns.
Great weight and feel (since its a licensed replica).
Cons
None right now.
These are some of my favourite little blowback BB guns.
I like the 'realistic' features, like the logo, and also that the slide, the magazine release, the safety all work like the actual pistol.
Fun, accurate, & comfortable to shoot.
The built-in hex key is a brilliant idea.
Pros
See above.
Cons
(pink bits)
Thank goodness AGD carries some pink pieces for the sisters, daughters, girfriends, wives and grannies in our lives who appreciate that feminine touch enough to join in the family fun. Having said that I shoot this a lot. It's compact and feels good in the hand. It's right in the middle for accuracy and air usage. That little brothers and cousins clamor to shoot a pink weapon after her is a testament to the shootability of the PPS. A $40 refurb is a screaming good deal. One that you won't regret...
Cons
Small learning curve with loading the mag. Tip it forward slightly with index finger covering the forward facing hole at the top.The BBs will fall through entirely if you don't
