I ordered the 1077 rifle after reading many reviews, which all were positive. I once owned a Ruger 10-22 rifle and since this air gun was manufactured in the style of the 10-22 I knew I would like the feel and looks of the gun. I ordered the refurbished Crosman 1077 and not sorry I did. You can't tell that it's not a new one. I like everything about my 1077. I will be adding a scope for it in the future. Airgun Depot was great to deal with. My order was handled and arrived on time. I will continue to do business with Airgun Depot.
Cons
None
Out of the box my girlfriend loved it. It was light and easy to handle and very accurate to shoot. I brought extra magazines for it and this worked out well. Being refurbished didn't make much difference. It shot like it was brand new. We both love shooting it and highly recommend these air rifles to anyone. Thank you Airgun Depot.
Pros
Like new condition. Shot flawlessly without incident.
Cons
None to mention...................
this is my first pellet gun
it like it so far. a screw head on the iron sight instantly stripped the first time trying to adjust it, iron sights are just terrible anyway, no point fidgeting with that piece of rubbish, just get a lazer or scope. its surprisingly accurate. im sure a lazer or a scope would be a great addition to this gun. 4/5
Pros
accurate, affordable
Cons
rear iron sight is just terrible
I am not happy wit the rifle because I was unable to get an accurate pattern when sighting in so installed my Winchester scope with a great history on my Umarex fusion a to date I am getting the same results. I am ready to return this rifle.
Pros
overall I would be very happy if it was accurate
Cons
obvious when you read my summary
Reasonably accurate, and fun to plink with.
Sounds goofy I know, but we bought this gun because we won a box lot of all sorts of air gun parts which included a speed loader and about 2 dozen magazines for this gun. Low price, so low expectations. This gun quickly became one of my 13 year old son's favorites (and we have a huge collection of new and vintage air guns). Sure the automatics we have are a real cool to shoot, but none configured for bulk, so about 2 mags per CO2, and then you need more. With multiple mags and the speed loader, my son fills his pockets with pre-filled mags and a couple CO2 cylinders and has a blast. Also, I don't worry about him leaving it outside or breaking it, as it wasn't a huge investment. Sure, maybe we have some of the Cadillacs of air guns in our garage, but taking out the old Jeep Wrangler from our collection for a spin is a lot of shooting fun.
Pros
All good for the price.
Cons
None for the price!
I purchased 2 of these 1077 refurbs when I could not wait any longer for the wildfire. The small refurbished sticker was the only indication these were not new.
Both shoot well on the first two clips and then the small CO2 cartridge effect starts to appear. I plan to convert them to bulk fill as the utube vids show. I did this with a previous new 1077 and the results were great. That gun developed an internal leak when I tried 1200 psi air. Not worth fixing when the price of these is so good.
Pros
Fun to shoot
Accurate to 25 yards
Consistent accuracy with bulk fill
Cons
Not a con but but buy lots of pellets and clips so the fun is not interrupted.
Stop only when the finger hurts from the trigger pull.
You will have a stronger finger tomorrow!
I like it ! It's light weight and accurate.
Like new for a refurbished rifle. Some small marring on the scope rails.
Pros
It's Accurate. I've only tested one pellet, but with a 4X scope, I'm getting 3/4" groups at 30 feet.
I'm sure that will improve after I've found the pellet it likes.
Cons
I have found, if a pellet has to be forced into the magazine...It will not shoot out.
Pellets should slide easily into the holes in the magazine.
Love this gun, wish I had one as a kid on the farm. Load up a few extra clips and you're ready for lots of shootin' fun. Accurate right out of the box, pretty hard hitting too.
Pros
Lotsa shots, light weight for the little guys, no pumping.
Cons
None.
Question?
Login to ask someone who bought this product. What is co2? Is it just air? Can u refill it by yourself? Or do you have to buy a new co2 cartridge every time it emptys?
asked Jake smithJake, CO2 is Carbon Dioxide, meaning a gas type air. Most CO2 comes in a cartridge that once pierced it can not be refilled. There are tanks (for like paintball's) that can be refilled. However most airgun pistols and rifles use the cartridges. Depending on the airgun you can get roughly 70 shots off before the cartridge is out and a new one is needed. Hopefully that answers your question. Sincerely, Airgun Depot Customer Care Team
Scott from USAdo you offer shipping to the UK obviously i would be willing to meet the extra cost also what weight pellets do you use when quoting muzzle velocity ratings as i need to calculate the muzzle energy in lb/ft in order to make sure the rifle i buy falls bellow the 12 ft/lb legal limit in the UK
asked Ryan RixRyan, Please contact our International Shipping Department at [email protected]. They can answer any questions you might have. Sincerely, The Airgun Depot Customer Care Team
Scott from USAHow long does the rifle hold the Co2 charge if it is left to set?
asked R.Forreri advise against leaving the powerlet in when not shooting, might cause the seal to crack or deform. i have left mine in overnight and it fired ok, but if your gonna store it take the powerlet out.
robert from USAis this gun any good? i read reviews online and most of them here air leakage problems? and where there any scratches dents or they re-manufactured this completely ?
asked john savarfor a 3lb piece of plastic at under $40.00 you can't go wrong, as for leakage mine works excellent. i only buy referbs since whatever problems it had are fixed. sights are ok but a scope would make it a good 30 yard gun, you could shoot 2-inch groups at that distance, maybe a bit tighter ? the fps is in the upper 500s and will blow thru 3/16th inch plywood out to about 20-25 yds. so buy it you won't be sorry..
robert from USAThere might be a scratch, but they fixed the problem that the people sent it back for.

So I've owned this model for pretty much 25 years now. I still have the original olive stock on one of them. These rifles have some decent power (700 fps?), are easy to maintain, easy to mod up. Fast reloads, very accurate. This is by far my favorite air rifle model. I own 4 of them.
Want simple mod like different camo? Remove the stock and hydro dip it... one piece, just a few screws. Easy to add a sling like a 1" webbing and Uncle Mike's swivels.
I have a Picatinny rail on mine, 3-9x 40mm scope. Laser, tac light... Love these things.
Pros
? Hard fast 12 shots of .177 fast as you can pull that trigger. ? Accurate. ? Quick reloads with speed mags ? Easy to mod/customize ? Lightweight ? Fairly decent range for a CO2 carbine rifle in .177 ? inexpensive
Cons
? Don't rapid fire too often, can freeze o-rings w/CO2 ? Don't use under 60?F, CO2 sucks in cold weather
