Superdomes shoot well in my Stoeger X20, but not in any other gun of mine. Meisterkugeln rifle don't shoot well in anything. Hobby are good in most low-mid power rifles and all pistols, but they're cheap to buy a full tin, so not much value here. Super H-point are not consistently good either. Skip this and ttry a tin of Superdome, and a tin of Basic. For reference, my guns are: HW30s, Diana 56TH, Benjamin Marauder, Air Arms TX200, Daisy 953, Crosman 1377
Pros
Good variety; try them all
Cons
Superpoint don't shoot well in anything, and neither do the heavy Meisterkugeln.
What is the weight of Meisterkugeln? Are they the rifle or pistol weight? It'd be nice if they said.
Super H-points also don't seem to shoot well out of anything.
Good assortment
Pros
Great variety
Cons
Expensive
This is a great way to test RWS pellets without spending a lot. You never know what pellets your gun likes until you try different ones.
Pros
Great way to sample RWS pellets and see what your gun prefers,
Cons
Nons
My daughter bought an older Beeman S-1 for me. I had to shoot it right away so I grabbed some pellets from Walmart (basic Crosman). The best I could get was a 6 inch group at 20 yds w/4 power scope. I got on this site and did some research. I decided to try the "5 pack" RWS. What a difference! Small groups at 20 yds. Now for some "fine tuning".
Pros
great idea with the sampler pack.
This a great way to try out a variety of pellets for a relatively low cost. The packaging works fine unless you forget to replace the plastic insert that fits between the lid and the pellet reservoirs. Trust me, you will forget. It took me 20 minutes to resort all of the pellets. Label differs from picture (nicer IMO).
These are very good pellets. The wadcutters are very good for targets. The pointed and h-point are good hunting and so are the domed. This pack gives you good variety for a cheap price. it helped me find my favorite pellet for my gun: the Superdome. It has very poor packaging and the pellets mix with each other and escaped the box into the shipping box. Otherwise highly recomended.
It's easy to argue with the selection, and of course we'd all like to choose which five we get from all the pellets available from RWS, but in the real world this is a pretty good set. Besides, the idea is to find out what works best with your rifle(s) and there really isn't any way to know if these are ideal or not ... without trying them.
Pros
Good selection.
Cons
Just a bit pricey for 500 pellets, but that's part of the deal.
