I only shoot RWS pellets. They are always clean and consistent. And, I only buy them Air Gun Depot because they know how to ship pellets so they don't get damaged during shipment. They're always pack in foam. I never have to go through my tins of pellets looking for bent skirts and dings.

These pellets are very clean, uniform, and accurate. I use them mainly for target shooting, but can be used for plinking too. They perform very well in all my Co2, pump, breakbarrel, and PCP rifles and pistols.

Pros
They are accurate and the lead stays bright and clean

Cons
None

Maybe it's the German name brand..maybe the slick packaging w the crappy lid..but every pistol and rifle I shoot these pellets with are spot on. I like to glaze them lightly in pellgunoil in a bag and put back into tin- helps them feed through the magazines I use. My newish sig mpx rifle loves these combined with the ninja 1100 psi ninja hpa tank. Buy w confidence.

Pros
Consistency. Accuracy. Ideal weight for lower powered guns.

Cons
A wee,bit pricey but not not horrendous. Crappy lid falls off...really rws? Wrap tin w rubber band and move on...

In my huge batch of testing RWS is a consistent pleaser I'm no longer surprised when I get good results. These are no exception giving a nice 1/2 inch group at 25 yards in my Gamo bone collector Bull Whisper rifle. I should have been surprised to see such a lite wadcutter grouping that well from a magnum air gun but I am getting used to such performance from RWS.

Pros
Accurate and consistent

Cons
none

Theses are lightweight pellets designed for pistol shooting. I can regularly shoot quarter sized groups with open sights at 10 meters. Using a red dot optic I can bring the group down to dime size. Shoots well in Crosman, Benjamin pumps, and Hatsan model 25 Supercharger springer.

Pros
Great target pellet for pistol shooting to ten meters. I can shoot out to 20 yards but the groups are pretty spread out.

Cons
None

Very consistent, well made pellet. From the bench at 10 yards it is my error if I don't put a group of 5 in a sub 1/2 group.

Pros
Well made

Love this ammo. Tried several kinds and types of pellets for my Crosman 1377 pistol. I get consistent 1 inch groups at 20 yards. Am using a low profile holographic red dot site and this combination of ammo, site and pistol is really impressive.

Is the R10 available in 4.48mm head size?

asked Ariane

Yes RWS R10's are available in 4.48mm. I use the rifle version currently in my Walther LP400 pistol. It may sound strange, but they give me one hole groups so I'm not going to argue!

Marcus

I have shot a tin of these pellets for comparing them to other 'match' grade pellets. I was shocked at the results. After looking at the specs I came to the conclusion that at least for my rifle- a Ruger Air Magnum, it was the light weight that gave each round a distinctive 'crack' of supersonic speeds. I have not yet measured the speed of these pellets but there is no mistaking the sound they make when leaven the muzzle of my rifle. The accuracy seems to be similar to other high quality pellets. I shoot targets at 50', 75' and 100' and find that holes left in the target even at 100' are usually perfectly round. The bottom line is that I like these pellets and will continue to use them both for their accuracy and the fun of hearing the crack as they break the sound barrier.

Can these shoot out of a rws 34 rifle? is there any danger to the gun?

asked Ricky

I don't see why not. I am shooting these in both the 5.3 gr and 7 gr sizes with my Ruger Magnum ( muzzle velocity ~1200 fps (measured)) usually I find little difference between wadcutters. I shoot at 105 feet and find that while the grouping of wadcutters is a bit larger than domed projectiles, it is still pretty good. One drawback is that at this range ALL the wadcutters I have tried seem to tumble. At shorter distances <~ 60 feet they punch nice round holes; at 100 feet they tear a big strip out always facing up. They also seem to require about 2 mill dots correction in the downward direction compared to domed projectiles. In the picture the first shot I took was a H&N Barracuda Match the next was an R 10 Match 5.3 gr. This was just a sighting shot and is almost 2 mill dots high. The next 6 shots were from an R 10 5.3 gr after correcting my scope. Some of the holes overlap. They all seem to tear the paper in the upward direction. The next picture is a comparison of the R 10 match 7 gr to the 5.3 gr. The offset from the last group I believe comes from the gun heating up. Both targets are on 8 1/2 X 11 paper. The groups are approximately 1 " in diameter. I believe both projectiles start out supersonic. I have measured them enough times that I think I can tell just from the sound.

Ricky: These pellets are an excellent match up with your RWS rifle. Hard to go wrong using ammo made by the company manufacturing the rifle / pistol. FYI, these rounds also extremely accurate in several of my other branded rifles and pistols. Hope this helps. Thanks, Will

Willie from USA

They will be for that gun. They should be plenty accurate and make clean holes in paper.

robert from USA

Assuming you the rifle you have is a 177 calibur, why would you assume the pellets would harm the rifle?

earl from USA

Is it better to use a lighter pellet for competition in a pistol or the heavier?

asked bill

I would stick with these. They are specially designed for pistol use and I've shot all kinds of pellets and have found these to be the most consistent and accurate. Some of the accuracy and consistency however has to do with the pistol you are shooting. Don't expect to compete in the Olympics with a $50.00 pistol.
