RWS Spring Cylinder Oil is a quality airgun lubricant that contains rust preventatives. RWS Spring Cylinder Oil is recommended for use on your air rifle's mainspring, barrel pivot pin, and cocking lever. Consider adding an RWS Lubricant Applicator Needle to your order for easy and accurate application. Apply 5 to 6 drops to mainspring, barrel pivot pin, and cocking lever every 1000 shots. Do not over lubricate. Do not apply to compression chamber. CAUTION: Oil may cause eye and/or skin irritation. Avoid contact with fluid and/or vapor.

RWS spring cylinder oil is a quality product and is used in all my breakbarrel spring guns to keep main springs well lubed and in proper working order.
Also works great to lube metal to metal moving parts Note- keep spring oil away from rubber seals and air chamber.
It’s well worth the $12.99 knowing you’re using a quality product , RWS products are top quality and this company builds some great guns and they know how to maintain them.

Pros
Easy to apply and goes a long way

Cons
None

This ammo is great keeping parts moving and BBs feeding. great for all moving parts. yet keep away from seals

Pros
good for all moving metal parts

Cons
make sure you don't put this stuff on in a chamber or on a seal. for that you need chamber lube.

BB's were jamming. After applying the RWS Oil, the BB's fed the wat they were supposed to.

I have one RWS Model 54 with about 6000 shots threw it never having applied oil to the gun it was shooting an average 750 at the muzzle...applied 4 drops of oil and after I shot enough to get past dieseling I checked it on the chrony again and it showed a 20fps increase on the gun. I also have a RWS Model 52 with about 1500 shots on it so I did the same check...this gun was averaging 770 at the muzzle and picked up about 8fps after oil was applied.

Just took my airpistol out of box. I dont have RWS oil yet so while waiting for it can I use regular gun oil or a drop of mineral oil ? Martin Mosho

asked martin from USA

Use silicone oil. The chamber lube is better.

Mark from USA

How do you use the needle applicator that is available for hard too reach places, as the threads/size of the needle will not fit the screw top on this bottle?
