Just unboxed. Very nice looking rifle. On the heavier side and with more weight up front - it is unbalance a bit. Solid construction. Battery compartment cramped. Airgun Depot recommends the 9.6 1400mAh AK stick battery, it does NOT fit.

Initially overall I'm happy.

Out of the box, this is a beautiful gun. After field testing it for a few months, here are the following pro's & cons:
Pro's: Unique Look, x2 470 Rd Mags, Solid Crane Stock, Shoots 350 FPS w/ .25s after it's broken in, it DOES have iron sights, decent adjustable hop-up, effective range is 80-100 ft.
Cons: Mags become loose after some serious field time, Mags require CONSTANT winding (but you kinda get used to it), Somewhat unbalanced and front heavy, battery housed in foregrip difficult to remove and replace.

But for $225, it's a bargain.

can you put real gun parts on this model?

asked Deltalima from USA

Does this weapon have an orange tip I'm still a young teen and my dad would only let me have it if there is one.

asked Kobe

No, because it is full auto and has a high rate of FPS. It also looks very real from a distance and is heavy so, I wouldn't advise getting this unless you can and air soft at a local airsoft arena because it's a great competition gun.

Nick from USA

Can you send it to stanbul, Turkey ?

asked Volkan topaloglu

Volkan, Please contact our International Shipping Department at [email protected]. They can answer any questions you might have. Sincerely, The Airgun Depot Customer Care Team

Scott from USA

Can you place a flashlight mount on this item?

asked James

Yes, there is tactical rails on the top, side, and under the barrel that can take dot sights, scope, flashlight, laser, etc.

Conor from USA

How do you remove the battery?

asked mike

It would show in the manual, but it looks like it is either in the grip or the buttstock.

Conor from USA

Overall, is it good? Any major problems, amount of kick?

asked Christian

no kick

ANTHONY from USA

How many rounds does this shoot per minute? and Would the second mag be necessary?

asked Living_Laser

it shoots thirteen rps

Chris

this is cybergun brand ?

asked carlos nuñez

Actually yes it is. It's actually made by a company called JP a Chinese reproduction company and rebranded by Cybergun because they own the copyright to Sig. It's a really really high quality aeg. The only downside to this aeg is the battery space.

Mikey

No, it is Sig Sauer.

Conor

Hello, I am trying to find the dimensions for this weapon so that I can choose from the two airoft gun cases that I have posted below. Any help will be appreciated. (Please post the dimensions for fully extended WITHOUT the magazine inside if possile.) (here are the links for the cases sorry if they are not hyper-links. http://www.airgundepot.com/ncstpvc48ins.html http://www.airgundepot.com/utg-homeland-security-gun-case.html Thank You

I was watching reviews for this AEG and it seemed that all of them were made by CyberGun with Sig Sauer trademarks. The "SPECS" tab on the 556's page says the manufacturer is the real Sig Sauer. I was wondering which one I will be getting soon once they get them back in stock (recieved an e-mail they were not in stock :( the day after purchasing) Thank You

asked Myrealnameiscooler

Hi Sig doesn't manufacturer this gun. It probably needs to read "Brand" rather than "Manufacturer" . I will see about getting that changed. No firearms companies actually produce their own airsoft guns. They all just license it out to airsoft manufacturers. It's pretty confusing because different guns licensed under the Sig brand could be manufactured by a completely different company. Cybergun owns the rights to the Sig license but I'm not exactly sure which airsoft manufacturer makes this.
