The SIG Sauer MCX Gen 2 gives you an updated air gun version modeled after the popular lineup of firearms. It's capable of reaching speeds up to 545 FPS for fun and excitement whether you're plinking, training for the firearm model, or doing light pesting.
With the SIG Sauer MCX Gen 2, you get a rifled steel barrel that looks like a firearm with a long suppressor because of the shroud, so you get accurate shots and a genuine look and feel. This model has been upgraded to give you an improved flat blade trigger just like the powder burner, plus an updated textured pistol grip with a reduced angle that's easier to use.
If you want precise shots, you'll appreciate the fact that this air rifle comes with adjustable and removable front and rear flip up sights, plus a long Picatinny scope rail for your favorite scope or dot sight. Another upgrade on this Gen 2 model is the M-LOK handguard that lets you quickly and easily add accessories like lights and lasers.
If you're in the market for a pellet rifle that lets you train for the firearm version without breaking the bank, get a SIG Sauer MCX Gen 2 from Airgun Depot today.

I had an issue with the case I purchased, I sent an email asking for a remedy to customer support and they got back to me immediately, offering multiple options, it's amazing to find such great customer support and I am very happy with the way they handled everything, from my original purchase, the packaging, shipping, everything. A fantastic experience and will continue to come back for additional items as needed, or wanted.
Pros
Feels right, runs close to the same weight as most AR platforms, it's a bit short, but is comfortable on the shoulder and the grip sits well. The action is smooth and easy to feel. Accuracy out of the box is impressive. I added a red dot sight and I either got very lucky or the rails aligned perfectly. I needed only to adjust the windage a few clicks left, elevation was perfect and I was hitting the 1" metal targets consistently at 25 yds. I haven't pushed out further yet, but we'll see what happens. The cylinders load in quickly and quietly, I bought the 90, but a smaller might be another option to prevent waste. I still haven't emptied the first 90 after 120+ pellets.
Cons
I wish they used the space in the pistol grip, the open area is wasted, when a door on the bottom (such as the Magpul grip) would be of good use and storage for say, the sight tool or other small items.
Let's face it, this isn't a hunting rifle. This thing is made to send pellets downrange quickly. The trigger is remarkably easy to pull considering the trigger pull advances the mag belt. It breaks nicely, with minimal effort. The straight trigger feels really nice. Folding sights are metal, adjustable, and are easy to shoot through. I put 4 different kinds of pellets through this gun, and it didn't change a thing. Accurate shooter at 10 yds even with different weight pellets. I'll zero it for 25 yds when I can. I've seen the complaints about previous versions of the MCX, and I don't know what changed in Gen 2, but there ain't nothing wrong with this gun.
Pros
The new straight trigger feels fantastic. Shoots like a dream right out of the box. Got 5 mags of plinking on a single CO2 tank. Folding sights are nice, easily adjustable, and just work like they should. Full-length pic rail on top with plenty of room for any optic/red dot you could want.
Cons
Sig has done away with the cover under the pistol grip to store the pellet/sight tool, so I can see that being easy to lose if one isn't careful. Had to mount a pic rail under the handguard for a bipod, but that was cheap and easy, and fit well. Rifle came with single mag with only one belt. Bought a spare mag that came with three belts, so plenty of ammo to shoot now. Pretty minor gripes, overall.

This is a fantastic rifle, accurate and reliable. With the 30 pellet magazine (belt) you can zip through the pellets in 3 seconds, which is fun. Reloading the belt is easy, but a little time consuming. I recommend purchasing additional magazines, which will cut down on your reload times. Overall, this rifle performs very well and with the aimpoint optic or other type of tech, it is very accurate.
Pros
This gun is similar to the feel of a real AR. The plastic is sturdy, and so far I have put about 150 pellets through it, it was accurate out of the box and intuitive to shoot.
Cons
Having a sling mount on the body, near where the stock mounts would be a good addition.
