Pros
These look so much like a real M1, its amazing. I put a real sling and buttock magazine pouch on mine for display. Im pretty sure a real bayonet will work on it. Beautiful fit and finish. Well worth the money. I ordered one for my grandson as soon as I got mine in the mail.
Cons
I cant find anything that I would change.
Good gun highly recommended
Pros
it felt like the real thing and overall good highly recommend
Cons
I wish it had more mag capacity
Have fun!!!
Pros
Like the real thing. Fun to shoot.
Cons
Some place to store the carter wrench
Its a fun little can plinker
Pros
Feels and operates pretty similar to the real thing. Fairly accurate at around 15 yards
Cons
It has a rattle from the wood being a little lose on top
the combo is worth the money.
Pros
I like that its light weight and a straight shooter and fun to shoot.
Cons
the only con I found is while it does come with an extra mag the one I got didnt work. the other works just fine
Pros
feels like the G.I. version
Cons
needs two 12g cartridges, runs out of co2 to quick.....15 shots a 12 gram cartridge @ best.
This is a fun plinker, good for training children or new shooters how to handle firearms. I can display this on the wall and keep my real M1 locked in the safe. My
pre-teen Granddaughters will love it.
Pros
Price is good for the synthetic stock version and it is made of a solid composite with realistic feel. Don't think I would have been happy paying an extra $100 for the wood stock. While it is an impressive replica, it's not convincingly constructed, material wise, to warrant real wood.
Cons
Not a strong shooter, only capable of accuracy at CLOSE range. Wouldn't puncture a plastic soda bottle. The bolt doest lock back when empty, so you must rely on the sound or count to know it's empty; which wastes shots and co2.
Magazine hard to load BBs. Have to hold magazine on downhill angle and hold back follower with coin to prevent damage to my fingernail then load BBs with other hand. Also immediately emptied 3 CO2 cartridges until I learned to insert cartridge downwards at start of procedure to eliminate possibility of massive leakage.
Pros
Accurate, realistic. One on my favorite BB long guns. Feels good in hand.
As a replica show piece buy it!!! As a shooter, maybe see if you cans find one to shoot before buying.
Pros
This is a very impressive replica Weight, length, stock, action, are all spot on as it was made by the original manufacturer.
Cons
It doesn't shoot at 450 fps. It actually shoots at speeds slower than our traditional BB guns.
Question?
Login to ask someone who bought this product.Does this gun have a piccatiny rail? I see in the description it says no rail but in the pictures it shows a piccatiny rail on several of the pictures
asked Jimmie from USAIs it field strippable
asked Theace 508 from USANo, not very authentic in that regard. But, it can be disassembled should you need to do a deep clean.
Brian from USADo all the synthetic wood models have weak fore grips and sloppy recievers for the magazine? Are the wooden stock models any better construction and assembly wise? Hope get a response here shortly. So, I can make up my mind and order this. Or finally get it off my mind. Thanks.
asked Ed from USACan the hand guard be replaced with a metal ventilated one's like the ones on the aftermarket versions of the m1 carbine?
asked Dennis from USAIs the action and barrel metal or plastic?
asked Raymond from USAfor the loose stock, get some "microbed" it is same color and permanent..use wax to keep the stock loose from the metal.. FOLLOW INSTRUCTIONS ABSOLUTEY.
asked Robert from USAi bought the Umarex Legends cowboy .122 pellet rifle and the lever is very loose.. Drops looking at it.. Is there a quick fix or is it a legit defect? let me know if it can be fixed..
asked Nicholas from CanadaI'm buying the synthetic stock version. But I have a wood stock from a real M1 carbine. Will it fit this rifle?
asked Rick from USAYou can make it fit, but once you change it it will be weaker.
Tom from USAHandguard is loose fitting, does it come off to see if I can find a way to fix it. If yes how do you do it? I just got it don't want to break something.
asked Mark from USAThe ad say it shoots PELLETS Does it shoot .177 pellets or just BBs ?
asked Ricky from USAJust BB's
Mark from USAThe M1 shoots BB's which are .177 cal/
Mark from USAI noticed it is possible to install a sling and oiler combo, is it possible to install the buttstock pouch? The real steel rifle the entire barrel, receiver and trigger assembly is removed and the pouch is slide down from the foregrip end and not from the butt end. Is all possible to remove?
asked Charles (Mike) from USAThe mag buttstock pouch has to slide down from the barrel end. If you remove the rear sight it will slide down easily. There are two Philipps head screws on the rear sight. Just turn the sight adjustment all the way to left to gain access to the screw, then move it to right to remove the other screw. These screws are in tight with Lock Tight so be careful removing them so as not to strip the slots out. Also, the bb magazines will not fit in the buttstock pouch since they are longer than the original 30 cal mags.
Marshall from USAThe front hand guard on faux wood version is loose and rattles. Any way can this be fixed. I’d take it apart but would be afraid of it not going back together right. Any suggestions?
asked David CarwayDoes this rifle shoot pelets.
asked Mark MitchellHow do I order extra mags and how much are they?
asked DEAN from USAWill you be offering the version with the wood stock?
asked Douglas Kinneycancel my order for springfield Armory M1 Carbine BB Rifle to long of a wait.
asked Thomas from USACould you post this to the UK? Regards Rob
asked Robert PerryI had a Universal M1 carbine and i’d like one of these if and when they put a real wood stock on it. My question is How accurate is your gun?
asked Eugene RaymoPictures look better than real item, shot show guy said it shoots 45 bbs per pull of trigger, did he mean I that to say 45 shots per co2 carteridge6or does it shot like a shotgun? Very confusing shot show video. If it's just a plastic stock, then why such a hefty price tag?
asked James from USATo bad they do not offer this with a wood stock. Or do they?
asked DonWill you offer the wood stock model talked about at the 2019 shot show by Air Venturi? Will you offer a spare magazine?
asked LarryCould a real wooden stock replace the plastic one for this carbine?
asked Frederick from USADoes it allow a Scope or Red Dot Sight to be mounted? Gary
asked Gary O from USA
If you are looking for a good semi-auto BB gun, find a better (and less expensive) option. Personally, I wish I would have gotten what I wanted over what I got. ("What we were looking for was a nice block of flats - nice though the abattoir is.")
Pros
Its authentic appearance and tactile appeal - it is a beautiful toy.
Cons
It leaks out most of its CO2 and therefore fires anemically, but, knowing a bit about "air-smithing" I might be able to work out a fix.
