Ordered two of the Swiss Arms 1911 BB pistols. One worked just fine upon insertion of the co2 cartridge. The second pistol was defective as the trigger would not function when the co2 cartridge was inserted. The pistol trigger locked up and could not be depressed thus rendering the pistol useless. They are great looking co2 pistols but it would be better if they both worked.
Pros
great looking pistols at a very reasonable price.
Cons
mechanically suspect as one of two units was defective out of the box.
Good feel, shoots straight and overall good quality. The clip has a little issue with the BB's falling out while trying to put the clip in the gun but maybe problem with the clip. I was going to try and order another clip to see if that solves the problem.
Pros
Nice look and feel
Cons
BB's come out of the clip easily while trying to install clip in gun
They ran a special and I bought three (3).. For the price, I received better than I thought I was going to receive...
Pros
Easy to load, fairly accurate with a better BB. Looks great. Great for someone starting out.
Cons
Nothin really bad I can say about...
Bought 2 of these a few days ago and I have to say I'm pleasantly surprised. Feels very similar to my Kimber 1911 and it's very accurate for a smooth bore BB gun. Double action trigger is smooth and fairly light in pull. Tons of fun to shoot! Would like to buy a few spare mags, if they were available. Only reason I gave it 4 instead of 5 stars are the smooth bore and no spare mags available (yet). I would definitely recommend this to a friend.
Pros
Realistic feel
Smooth double action trigger
Drop free magazine
Accuracy
Cons
All plastic
Smooth bore
No spare mags available
When I first opened the package, I thought ok this looks pretty good. I took the BB Gun out of the package and I was disappointed, it the way the gun felt. Cheap plastic, felt like a toy. Not what I had expected. I thought ok lets see how well it shoots. After putting a co2 cartridge in and loading the magazine with 15 BBs. The first three shots nothing happened. I dropped the magazine out and three BBs fell out of the handle. I fired the gun 25 times before the first BB shot out of it. I finally was able to get the gun to shoot two to three shots then it would misfire. Each time it misfired I would drop the magazine out and bbs would fall out of the handle. Not wanting to give up hoping it needed a break in period, I have used up 7 co2 cartridges with less than 100 bbs shooting out correctly. You have to be careful loading the magazine, because if you allow the follower to spring forward with any force, it will push all of the bbs out completely empting the magazine.
Pros
Price. when it does shoot correctly, the bbs hit hard.
Cons
Almost everything. very cheap BB Gun. Made mostly of plastic, will not feed correctly. What good is a magazine that will hold 18 BBs if it dose not work correctly.
Got during a Lightning Deal so the price was fantastic. Works pretty darn good for a low end and inexpensive plinker! Put a cheap laser mounted on the bottom and have been putting holes in cans!
Pros
Inexpensive. Powerful for a lower end pistol.
Cons
Jams occasionally, but no more than expected.
