The box states that this gun comes with Hop-Up (spin), but it does not. The owner's manual states that this gun is double-action and single-action. That is incorrect. It's single-action only.

This pistol is fun to shoot . Pretty realistic . I'm a big guy with big
hands , so clip is a little hard for me to load.

This is a fine replica and worth the money! This unit shoots very accurately and has a great heavyweight. Now with the customer service issue..... They forgot to send the whole package in my shipment. The deal was (5) c02 canisters (1) pkg of BB's and (!) extra magazine which they forgot to ship. Now ordinarily this would not be a big deal but this was for my sons B-Day and not having anything to shoot out of this dam gun was very disappointing. Well, they finally got their $#%& together and sent the goods.

The Colt 1911 has always been one of my favorite side arms. This is the by far the best powered back version I've found to maintain proficiency with and as with all fixed sight firearms, once you get used to it's point of aim and make allowances, it is extremely accurate. I've gotten many 2" groups at 50' after only a very short amount of time getting used to it. I do admit that the basic bare metal sights where not ideal but with a little painting skills and some white and red model paint to add a red front ramp sight with white square outline rear sights this pistol does some absolutely amazing things.
Pros
Extremely realistic. Very accurate with very little practice if you are familiar with this type of weapon.
Cons
Poor factory sights. Uses a lot of CO2 but that's a given for the realistic function that you get out of the pistol. Expect only 3 full magazines full out of a single CO2 cartridge.
This blow back is all the rage. I have shown this to friends and they all are surprised to just how authentic it is. Also, the blow back feature allows the shooter to experience a little of what a real 1911 feels like. As a matter of fact, the blow back feels similar to shooting a .22LR type 1911. Lastly, the kit is the way to go, especially when you get the extra magazine. This allows for a quick change out and continued strong power with a fresh cylinder. This also, gives the first magazine time to warm up for better performance the second time around. You will not be disappointed with this kit.

Cons
Terrible magazine feeder for loading. This alone will make some people angry. It is as if the BB feeder mechanism was an afterthought.

Love the weight and the action--the slide's realistic blowback is a great feature. I shot 3 mags (plus a few weak shots) before the CO2 ran out.
Great weight, and accurate at about 10 yards... maybe a little more.
