It works great for me.
I’m using it on a Fusion 2 and have no problem with it threading in and releasing C02. I do use rubber gripped pliers to tighten it fully. I tighten the adapter tightly to the cartridge so I can remove them both as one unit.

I bought this 88 gram CO2 cartridge adapter for the Umarex Fusion 2 air rifle. Don't buy it it does not work. I tried everything to get it to seat into the gun with no success, the cartridge is punctured, but gas will not leave adapter. I finally called Umarex and they say it doesn't work. So don't waste your time, money, and patience trying to return it to Airgun Depot because that will get you no where. They will send you a return authorization but you pay the cost of shipping. Dah! Thanks for nothing!!!!
Still don't recommend for the Fusion 2 unless you want to modify it

Update to previous review. Did as mentioned below and took off one row of threads and it works great. Can now use the 88g Co2 and remove it when I'm done shooting. Great device
If your buying this for a Fusion 2 just be aware it might not work for that gun at least not mine, but if you have a Umarex 850M2 works like a charm so happy with this adapter for at least this particular rifle.

Doesn’t work can shoot at max 4-6 pellets then locks up and get no air. Took it out came home the next day put it in the gun and got two pellets out before it locked up. Screwed in a cylinder without adapter and no problems.

The problem is the neck of the adaptor is too short to reach the piercing pin of the gun. I've heard some people modify the screw threads on the gun to make it work, but I like my warranty. Maybe when that runs out I'll give it a shot.

Works for me. I’m using this adapter for the Umarex Fusion 2. It works great. I can tighten it on the 88 gram cylinder first then tighten it into the gun with some rubber gripped pliers. This way I can back off on the cylinder and the adapter to depressurize the gun.
