Pros
nice balance
Cons
low powerd but not bad for the price
Note: In a full test run of the Daisy 340, Crossman PSM45, and Beeman 1018 and this gun for several hours and hundreds of shots.. this gun was the best. When well controlled it had the tightest dispersion pattern. The PSM was 2nd and 340 3rd - both of these guns were comparable in accuracy and control with the PSM winning out with a more effective magazine (PSM drop down, 340 drop down with speed loader which is not as effective as advertise). Beeman was very poor and not well constructed - safety makes left handed shooting complicated, bad dispersion and more then normal strays, loader is cumbersome. Range and rounds.. Copperheads, Umarex, and Daisy .. Pellets Daisy wadcutters and Crossman pointed. Range 10-15 ft freehand.
Pros
Very solid and well built gun that can easily fire both .177 BBs and Pellets. Uses front 1/4 section barrel break system with side-to-side rear 3/4 slider. A bit stiff at first but after you work it for say about 50 rounds it gets a bit easier to cock. Loading is silly simple and has two notches on the front 1/4 to easily open the loading bay for a number of BBs or single shot pellet. Of all the 200fps/springers on this site this is BY FAR the best built, most accurate, and fun to shoot IMHO. Well worth the $20 bucks.. Umarex did well with this one.
Cons
Not much really.. note, heavy trigger pullers need to take care as the gun will stray slightly upward.. keep it controlled for good shooting.
the quality appears good but 1. pellets drop24" low of target at approx. 25ft. 2. It takes too much effort to move the slide to cock the gun. A lot of 16 yr. olds couldn't cock it. Sorry I couldn't give you a better review but for the price I guess I shouldn't have expected more
Pros
looks good
Cons
see above would return it but postage more than guns worth
Question?
Login to ask someone who bought this product. We have aggressive dogs on our normal dog walk. I have been looking for a way to get them to leave us alone, without permanently hurting them. Curious about this pistol's stated velocity of 200 fps. Will that cause the BB to imbed into the dog? Or will it just sting them and bounce off? I'm not looking to pierce the skin. Thus, I am uncertain about any of the CO2-powered pistols.
asked John from USADo u have to re cock the gun after every shot
asked Mali from USAYes
Mark from USA
Pros
A good low power pistol to shoot that is not loud.
Cons
It's hard to rack the slide after each shot.
