- Safe-T-Matic auto-safety that puts the gun on safe every time it's pumped and can avoid misfires common to new shooters.
- EZ-Load pellet ramp for flawless loading every time.
- Ergonomic stock design accommodates right- and left-handed shooters.
- Lightweight scope that can be introduced once the shooter has learned to use the open sights.
- Impact-resistant gun stock -- which is handy when you have young shooters who may not be as careful or as adept at handling guns.

*The box and manual state the gun has a Picatinny rail. It does not. The optics rail has a clamping width of exactly 3/8 of an inch (9.5mm). A Picatinny rail has a clamping width of 21mm. The scope has a tube diameter of 3/4 of an inch. Steel BBs can ricochet. The shooter and everyone in the shooting area should wear safety glasses when a gun is being handled (even if it's unloaded). Remember to remove all pets from the area as rebounding ammo can hit them too. Never shoot steel BBs at hard objects (including metal targets) or water as that increases the chance of ricochet.

Lots of fun. Would make a fantastic first rifle for new shooters. Absolutely nice enough for more experienced shooters wanting something inexpensive for indoor/backyard shooting, knocking around & plinking.
Pros
Very nice open sights. Will shoot with fine accuracy. Easy to pump. Easy to load. Great plinker & target shooter. Lightweight & handles well. Nice synthetic materials. Automatic safety is a great touch. Good looking. Exceptional bargain given low price.
Cons
Forget the scope or using BBs. As with almost any other variable pumper, more power would be nice with max pumps.
Received the gun in a short time. The package contained just the gun and instructions... not the scope... But the gun works well, and I have had fun using it. It will dispatch a squirrel easily enough.
Pros
Relatively inexpensive, easy to cock and pump up, light weight, and fairly powerful.
Cons
No scope included in the refurbished unit. Other than that, it's a pretty good little gun.
You have to get used to the trigger and loading mechanism.. loading it means you actually have to cock the gun before you can insert the pellet.. and cocking it automatically engages the safety.. takes a little getting used to, but I like it after I became accustomed to it. Deadly on squirrels... and is great for shooting deer in your garden... just one shot to their behind and they leap away.. to return two hours later... I was expecting a scope with mine, but none came.
Pros
1. Good ergonomic form.
2. Without the scope, distance shooting is hampered, but within 20 yards, it's death to squirrels.
3. The automatic trigger safety takes a little getting used to, but once you get used to it, I love it.
Cons
The pellet feed mechanism takes some getting used to.. but is easily used...
I tried zeroing this. It’s a great gun in general love it shoot it all the time but if you can find an pdf of the instructions and send me them that would be much appreciated so I can reread it if there was something I missed, other than that it’s a good gun
Pros
Shoots good, sights are pretty accurate, light weight, automatic safety is amazing
Cons
Hard to zero the scope, you have to pump it so many times before you can shoot it
I bought this rifle last fall, from Air Gun Depot, for my 8yr old grandson. When he is shooting it, I have an open reflex red dot sight mounted on it. When I shoot it I mount a Center Point 30mm 4x scope on it. When shooting pellets, with a weight less than 7gr, the gun is very accurate out to 30yds or so. I have gotten groupings of 1in or less with Crosman SSP Super Sonic Pointed pellets 4.0 gr, R W S Diablo Basic flat nose wadd cutter pellets 7gr.,Gamo Blue Flame Pointed pellets 5.4gr Gamo Rapor PBA round nose pellets 5.4gr and Excite Prometheus round nose 6gr pellets. The Prometheus Excite flat nose wadd cutter pistol pellets 4.5gr have also worked well too.The gun is very light weight with no recoil at all. The gun is fairly easy to pump and my grandson can get the first 3-4 pumps done himself. That is the level we shoot it at when he is using it. He also usualy shoots bb's at targets set at 5-10yds. The gun is quiet and I like the automatic safety for him and also myself. At first I did not care for auto safeties. I have two Hatsan rifles with them also. But now it is reflex action to engage and disengage them and and I don,t have to think about it. I also now just engage the safeties on the guns that I have with a manual safety. I guess it is like seat belts in cars, at first I did not like them either but now I just do it and they have saved my life on one occasion. For an inexpensive gun the quality is ok and the shorter stock fits well with younger shooters. To sum things up,I like the gun and my grandson loves it. Accuracy falls off with bb's.
Pros
Good choice for younger shooters. ( and their grandfathers )
Cons
none so far
I wish thinking back as a 8-9 yr. old this would have been out there as a choice for my parents, and myself to chose for my son 25 yrs. ago as a second Rifle, My Self and Son now 32 yrs. has a 9yr. son/my Grand son and we will get him one of these cause' it teaches responsible weapon use and respect for what can / does happen when you point and shoot with out any thought of where it goes or does, all Very important when yourself has to pay for a repair or replace of something By chance happened or by choice happened it's still Your fault, Left or Right of outcome and that's a good lesson we all should Try to live by, now all that Said go out and Shoot and that a child to teach them Right / from Wrong . Sorry to talk /so much Tim R. ( Pop's )
Pros
The thing I like 1 pump and shoot flys outside on trees' or plywood with fruit jice on it /great bait use your imagination at this pint 2-3 or 5 pumps for varmint's, mice, rats bad birds you what to chase away starlings / magpies / flickers any thing that annoys you with out being a problem Yourself / Be Responsible it's your Fault when You - Point the Weapon or Pull the Trigger ! Always remember that" and Teach that ,
Cons
Don't just give to a child / girl , boy with out, some very important teaching / instruction that They are at and in, charge of what it Can do and They could do wrong with it. Tr.
