Cool gun but I don’t think it’s worth the price uses a lot of CO2 is accurate and fun to shoot but I don’t again think it’s worth the price to me I would be comfortable paying around $60-$75
Pros
Looks cool and can be fun
Cons
You can’t tell how many bbs are loaded in the magazine you can’t tell when you run out the Picatinny rail’s are slightly undersized and sometimes It does not puncture both CO2
The gun functions great, but the magazine has quit working and will not load BBs. Since replacement magazines are not available the gun is absolutely useless!!
Pros
Six shot burst is a lot of fun
Cons
The magazine broke
Pros
I am very impressed with the realism as well as the feel of the weapon.
Bring a lot of Co2 cartridges with. You'll need them.
Pros
A very fun gun to shoot. Very accurate.
Cons
I get 2-3 6 round bursts then I'm having to drop 2 more Co2's in. Single shot does much better. The BB follower needs to be made of metal. Due to the fact that its actually made of plastic, I broke it on the 2nd trip out to shoot. Currently awaiting a replacement from Umarex as it isn't sold here.
Do not recommend
Pros
When working the 6 shit burst is great ,
Cons
The loading of the bb's is horrendous that spring catches bbs and kinks . Loading the CO2
Is brutal the seal rips, leaks after maybe 8 reloads it was screwed
This is my second big let down by Umarex and I am afraid to purchase another one of their products. I sent them an email regarding the issue I had with the Steel Strike and never heard back from them. The other disappointment was their Steel Storm, didn't get a lot of use out of that either before the spring became a serious issue--that is before popping out.
Pros
It was really fun for a brief time.
Cons
I didn't use it a lot, by that I mean I never loaded the main bb storage more than one time before this gun suddenly quit firing.
This is my third Umarex, and my third disappointment. I should have spent a little more and purchased a better quality gun. Just a little better components and these would be great guns.
Pros
High capacity magazine. Easy loading.
Cons
Eats CO2 Cartridges, two at a time. On 6 round burst you may get 2-3 mag loads and they are done. Single shot lasts a while longer. Mag gets stuck, have to pull like you’re going to break it to remove it. Not accurate over 25 feet. 6 round bursts are all over the target. I have a Steel Strike, it lasted a week before a gasket went bad in the mag, but it was a much more accurate gun and didn’t eat CO2. The design flaw in the mag is easy to fix, just needs the top 4mm O Ring replaced with a more durable one. Once I get the O Ring replacement, this one is going in the closet as a backup.
I've shot about 1000 rounds through it so far in the week that I've had it. The reloading of BBs that are in the hopper is so much better than the Steel Storm and Steel Force. This will be the abolustely perfect gun for running through cheap BBs if I can figure out how to convert this to bulk CO2 or HPA. I'm burning through 4 or more 12g CO2 cartridges every day.
Pros
Accurate to at least 10 yards with a my Red Dot 1x scope.
Cons
You will burn through CO2.
This is waaay better than expected.2nd try with Umarex steel models. This is the bomb! 1000 plus bb,shows no signs of slowing down. Accurate, powerful, just plain cool. Get one!
Question?
Login to ask someone who bought this product. What size is the rail?
asked Elijah from USAThe magazine for this gun, can it also b sold here?
asked Nadaneece from USAI don't know why you'd need one unless yours malfunctioned. 900 BBs is a bunch and unlike other airgun models the CO2 cartridges are in the gun's fake gas tube inside stock instead of being in the magazine.
Richard from USACan this rifle load pellets or BBs only? Does the full auto works for pellets or bb only?
asked Carl from USABB's only.
Mark from USACan u change out the front and rear sights? No matter how i aim, it shoots way low and this is with brand new co2. It shot accurate this first day. But thats it. I bought it tuesday. And i was only shooting at 30-50 ft. Away. Can u adjust the sights at all
asked Jesse H HansenShorten your front site post. You can just fold them down and get a cheap red dot.
Richard from USAIs it durable? Can it handle excessive use for long periods of time?
asked TonyI'm on my third Steel Force. Does this last longer
asked Vance from USAThink about your question! No, of course the forth Steel Force last's longer! Your just getting the hang of it kid!
Don from USA
Pros
I bought one a couple of days ago to go to the backyard to shoot it it was fun for a while but then the BBs wasn’t shooting brought it in and found out that the sprain that pushes the BBs up had broken
Cons
I would like to see a better magazine
