When I use this target I use under 12 Foot Pound guns mostly CO2 rifles and pistols. Occasionaly a low powered .177 PCP rifle. The target works really well with all these guns. So far I have only gotten about 100-200 rounds on it but it is holding up well without deforming of any of the paddles.
Pros
Works well and is strong than it looks.
Cons
I was just surprised how small it is. I didn't recall dimensions being given on the product before purchasing.
Great target for younger kids learning to shoot
Good little gun. Very lightweight but dependable. The screw on the laser to install the battery I can not get off. Stripped it trying.
I really like this Umarex reset target. I use it with my Walther CP88 .177 cal Pellet Pistol at 10yrds with Crosman .177 cal 7.9gr wad cutter pellet and when you hit the target with a solid hit, the target flips up with authority. I've shot over a hundred pellets with the Walther CP88 and it works perfectly when the target is hit solidly. I've also used my HK USP AirSoft 6mm pistol, but It won't flip the targets up, it will however, move the target so you know that you have hit it.. I don't recommend that anyone shoot plastic BB's at this target, (or steel BB's) as the BB's rebound quite a distance and could be dangerous.
Pros
The Umarex Reset Target is well made and should last a long time. Works 100% of the time when you hit the target properly.
Cons
It's not really a con, but I would have liked the Target Trap to be a bit larger.
I use it mostly for indoor target shooting .177 caliber pellets and lead BB s. Good gauge metal, works flawlessly,
Pros
Extra paddle stickers are included.
Cons
none
Question?
Login to ask someone who bought this product.could someone please give dimensions on this? thanks! i'm mainly concerned with the overall width, height and depth. i currently have a sig sauer pellet trap and i built a big shield to go around that and I'm wondering if this will fit the shield i made for the other one.
asked Andrew from USACould someone please tell me the dimensions of this trap? Thank you in advance!!
asked Rudy from USA
I expected that none of the lead pellets would escape the trap. Those that do are usually flatted and don't go too far.
Pros
It's really fun and challenging to shoot these targets with lead pellets.
Cons
Some pellets bounce out of the trap and a few really ricochet.
