Cool and precise!
Nice rifle that is consistent and a real pleasure to shoot.
Pros
It is accurate, I can hit the head of a drywall screw in the wall at 30 yds. when I can hold it. Easy to load both the air, and the clips, over all a very nice accurate rifle for the money. It is louder than my Marauder, but not a thing for me anyway. For the money I like its looks, performance and ease of use. Shot and killed a coon a couple weeks ago. With the shot just above the eyes in the front of its head, blood shot out, he jumped off the wall and was dead before he hit the ground. Very satisfied!
Cons
For just me personally, the scope has the capability distance wise to put on a 50 cal. rifle. Cannot focus on shots under 25 ft. I replaced it with a fairly small 4 power 22 scope, and it works great.
Only fired about 100 rounds so far, but the rifle seems solid, the trigger is pretty good and it appears that when I find the correct pellet the rifle will perform as advertised accuracy wise. Very pleased over all.
Pros
With the design of the rifle, its really nice to get so many shots without recharging the air pressure.
Reasonably easy to refill with my Hill Pump.
Cons
For myself, the scope is way over powered relating to the range of a pellet rifle. And being 64 years old. the dots on the cross hairs are just to small to see when sighting on something dark. Have to swing off target to find them and go back to the target to fire.
Wow....I am shooting .620 groups at 40 yards with my .22 cal version...and usually 3-5 of those rounds are into the same hole! Needless to say that the rifle is probably better than the shooter. Mine came with the 8-32!x86 scope, which isn't lightweight, but makes a quarter look like a basketball at 40 yds! Get it, quit sitting on the fence!
Pros
barrel
Trigger
Action
Accurate
Cons
It doesn't fill itself to 4350 psi.....darn, only 80 to 100 shots on a fill ...Thats ONLY 3X WHAT OTHER PCP'S GET!!
this is a really good air rifle i diffidently recommended it
best gun ever!
Question?
Login to ask someone who bought this product.I am new to this Sport. Can you use an Air Compressor to fill the Tank, I do not know.. ? Old "NEWBIE".. Stan Reeves
asked Stan from USACan you ship .22 calibre to India Regards
asked Mohammad from IndiaHow does this compare to the Benjamin Armada Combo? What's the best pump to get? I've bought 2 good break barrel guns, but the don't group shots and were a sorry waste of money.
asked MaxHi, I have dominator in cal .177, wanted to ask few questions about it. 1) I am in precision shooting competition 50 mtr range open field, which pallet would you suggest for best consistency. 2) Where can i get bipod for this model because having trouble with adopter's, which adoptor will fit the best to this rifle. 3) which scope you would recomend for the above competition. looking forward to your replies, Kamran
asked KamranCan you fill this up with an air compressor? Is any special fitting needed if so? Or is there a special accessory for pumping up this air rifle?
asked Joe1. Yes, with an airgun compressor that will give 3000+ psi. They are $500-1500. Hardware store compressors only go to 200-300psi. 2. Yes. Your connection has to fit the airgun on one side and the air source on the other. 3. You can use an airgun pump ($300) or dive shops and paintball shops can fill your rifle to 3000 psi. Some can fill to 4500 psi. If you get a scuba tank or airgun air reservoir, the dive shops and paintball stores can fill them for you and you can take it with you to your shooting spot. Or if you work in labs with high pressure nitrogen cylinders, you can fill them from those. All will need the proper connectors. Probably a flexible hose, too. This air rifle goes to 4300-4500 psi and gives you 100 shots per fill. I think that is about the range for the nitrogen cylinders. You wouldn't even need a pressure regulator. You could just hook up a hose from the N2 to your rifle and open the N2 cylinder. Many airgun filling accessories have pressure regulators on them, but they are expensive. I am going to try to get all hooked up through Grainger and not airgun websites.
grantOn a scale of 1 thru 10 how loud is this rifle? Is it backyard friendly?
asked tim from USAI want the quietest the quietest . One review said to get the LG 22 with the TX Modulator. I want accuracy and quietness I live in NJ sadly.
asked MarioThe moderator can quiet down the report quite a bit after double wrapping it in electrical tape. Unlike the Air Magnum the Dominator is so powerful it will blow the end of the moderator off after a few shots so it will have to be super glued back on. Another option is aftermarket, http://www.tko22.com has developed a moderator similar to the stoeger and gamo break barrel moderators for the Dominator, send them an email. And don't go for the .177, certain pellet weights can go supersonic and null the performance of a moderator.
Gordon from USAHow accurate is it? How far does it shot accurately? How loud is it?
asked Parker from USAHow accurate is it? How far can it shoot accurate? How loud is it?
asked Parker from USA50 yards with no problem....its fairly loud as a .22, but simply tape over the moderator, sight, and it sounds like a daisy!

I ordered the Walther 1250 combo at $729.99 from Airgun Depot. When it arrived the order was not complete. The scope was missing. I contacted Airgun Depot and they sent me a way to send it back to them at no cost to me. After a week I called them and was told that the gun had just arrived and that it would take a while before they inspected it and send me another. A week after that I called but no one answered, a recording came on saying they were overwhelmed to contact them by email and they'd get back with me. I did, they didn't. So I filed for a full refund. Stil waiting.
