I'm not sure about the older ppk/s' but the newer models are designed to fail. What happens is if you loosen or tighten the co2 screw at the base of the grip after very little time the metal the gun is made of will start to weaken and at the base of the grip the co2 screw will fail and it will leak out all your co2 gas. To the untrained eye it will appear that the seals are bad but that's not it. The nutt that the co2 screw turns in comes in two halves. When the metal of the gun starts to weaken the nutt will widen and the screw wont be able to tighten down to hold the gas. It will pierce the co2 but wont tighten down and all the gas will leak out at once. That can get expensive trying to fix the problem. It's all behind the plastic piece at the base of the grip so you cant see what's happening there. The indicator is where the two pins go in that hold that plastic piece in. If the plastic is cracking at the two pins then the gun is ready to be thrown away. Sad but true.
Pros
None. Sad but true.
Cons
PPK/S is designed to fail. This model is a disposable bb gun that has a life expectancy of roughly 1 to 3 months.
Pros
I wasn't sure about the quality and realistic features of the gun..before I purchased it. But I am glad that I took a chance, the gun is excellent. It feels good like the real thing and the blow back and weight of the gun is great. I have purchased two more guns and IM happy with them two.
Cons
I have none. for the price it's worth every penny.
Pros
It is tough and realistic as it gets and the blowback feature is awesome! And it feels good in your hand
Cons
Maybe the de -cocking feature. That's about it
I don't feel like 007 yet. Still not a bad buy for $80 bucks.
Pros
realistic feel and weight. accuracy is very good. blowback action is very nice.
Cons
still needs improvement. would like to see dropout magazine with co2 and bb's housed together. Also extra magazines available. Would also like to see functioning decocking lever. Also more power would be nice.
This is made outside North America, so the CO2 tightener key is metric: 6mm. It's also easily misplaced. But don't worry: any 6mm hex head/ Allen wrench will work after you lose the key that comes with this.
Pros
Nice that it's all metal. If airguns weren't thicker on the ground here than real firearms, it might be convincing in the dark.
Cons
The blowback action sucks up power from the shots like a vampire. BBs exiting the muzzle are slower and lack power, as has been stated before. This is the main reason I no longer take this out. The CO2 tightener hex key is easily misplaced, and it's 6mm, if I remember correctly. Metric anything is guaranteed to slow down any "fix it/ make it work" process (at least in North America), for one reason or another (standard tools rounding off/ rounding out metric cap screws, that guy who used a snipe to torque a metric eyebolt into standard hole and stripped the threads, etc.).
This pistol gets a lot of bad reviews and I don't know what people expect. It's a blow back action (this takes quite a bit of energy) that is very similar in function to the real pistol. It actually does a decent job as a trainer as training is about muscle memory. It will penetrate a thick cardboard target backing at 25' -30' no problem. Everyone that's fires mine is impressed. This is NOT a target pistol, nor was it designed to be. It IS a nice pistol the works well, eats up BB's about as fast as you can load them and is a ton of fun.
Pros
Nice feel, weight is good. Slide locks open after last shot. Not a bad trainer.
Cons
Would always like to see more power:-)
I read a lot of complaints here about this pistol but do not share their opinions. I found this gun to shoot well and do everything it's supposed to do.
Pros
I bought mine used but in excellent condition. I have no idea what the shot count is. IMHO this is a fun gun. Mine works great with strong blowback, accuracy to 50', realism, and 8 full magazines or 120 shots from one 12gr. CO2. The sights can be difficult to see but still useable. Power is modest but I didn't buy this pistol for power so I am happy. A fun to shoot gun.
Cons
I would make the mag a bit more robust.
It’s really cool. I took a file to the sharp bits that irritated my hand. Awesome!
Pros
I have a 19, VP9 and now this little chiller. I love it. It’s my favorite of the three. If only it had a VP9 like grip. It’s still my favorite.
Cons
None. Super cool. I like this gun a lot.
Not worth the money, maybe if you really really like this gun just for fun or something but its not accurate enough for training.
Pros
Looks realistic, pretty heavy, slide & hammer work well. 15 rounds is nice. Mostly well made.
Cons
Not that accurate, a lot of flyers, you can see the bb's just flying out of the barrel at an angle. Weak blowback, weak shots, cant even penetrate a soup can or a thick cardboard box at close range, making the bb's ricocchet everywhere, you can pretty much only shoot paper unless you want to dodge bb's all day. Plastic flimsy stick mag & the spring doesn't lock so you have to hold it down while loading & if you let it go by mistake all the bb's fly out.
Question?
Login to ask someone who bought this product.I'm having problems with all three of the Walther PPK/S BB Pistols. I'm in need of a plastic part that hold the screw in place for when the CO2 cartridge is tighten down. Any idea if there are any parts for this pistol?
asked Larry S from USAHow many mags in total does this come with?
asked Sanath from USACan I Put A Silencer On This Pistol? If I Can, Where Should I Buy One?

arlo from CanadaCan you put a fake suppressor on this one?
asked Mario from USAThey show a nice leather replica holster in their video,I would really like it plus one to go with P38 I ordered as well as this PPK/S That is in same order.also happen to be looking for one for legends Luger as well as replacement grips for all 3 plus my western revolvers
asked Jeff from Canada
I wanted a smaller compact CO2 pistol and thought I might like this & so bought it and the package of extra magazines and with tax + shipping it cost upwards of $100 which was way too much for this once I tested it. Looks good, but otherwise disappointing performance all the way around.
Pros
Gun looked good, realistic & liked the heavy feel of it.
Cons
I'd read about a mod to limit the co2 escaping during the "blow-back" which affects the performance - unfortunatley Umarez changed the design so the mod can no longer be performed [disappointed!]. Listed at 290 FPS I wasn;t expecting much, but even with fresh CO2 at close range it bounces off a soda can.
