UNDER SPECS IT says---BLOWBACK--NO. which is it?
I choose this gun because I had been wanting a 1911 Blowback piece in my collection and have been stalling. Then I found this one at AGD on sale.
I was surprised to find Winchester airguns are Daisy product. This one built in Japan which is preferable than China.
It is well made out of steel besides the plastic grips. The instructions claim its built in lubricated so no need to oil the C02 cartridge. Its accurate as others stated. You can test and practice and test accuracy at home.
Pros
Was Inexpensive.
The clip was well designed place to lock the slide open and a magnet in top of he clip are both useful in loading.
Its not to CO2 hungry I have been able to get 60 shots out of a cartridge
Cons
deal with the writing all over it.
Blowback is there yet the weight of the slide with co2 pushing it simulates a rather low recoil compared to a real 1911.
this gun is very realistic, accurate and fun practice
honestly, its alright. definitely not replica worthy. it has so much writing on it, even the steps of reloading and shooting, and it labels every functioning button/lever on it , which kills the display. It would be nice if it had a full drop out mag instead of a stripper clip style mag. The grip safety doesnt even work either lol. Its kick is hard though, and it is decently accurate. Had this thing for a few years, and ive grown to enjoy it for fun. Id definitely skip over this and get the Tangfolio Witness 1911.
Pros
Winchester Quality. Full metal frame. Sounds decent. Sturdy. Kicks hard. Fun and easy to use for backyard. Mag has a higher capacity. decent power and accuracy, comes with a hard shell case.
Cons
Not replica worthy, Tons of unnecessary writing on it, the grips look fake and plasticy, CO2 efficiency is terrible and only good for about two 16 round mags. Just get the Tangfolio Witness.
I love this gun and I would choose this gun over any other co2 blowback pistols. There are many 1911 models out there, but this has to be the best of them all.
Pros
full medal
blowback
accurate
and more...
This is a very nice replica! After looking at all the competition, I found this pistol at Bass Pro Shop. They had the Remington version next to it but it was in a sealed box and I couldn't examine it like this one in a clear vacuum hanger package. This had quite a bit better fps and was $20 cheaper. After looking up the reviews I decided to go for it, and beforehand, I had pretty much "made up my mind on the Rimington". I like just about everything about the gun.
Pros
Looks and feels very realistic. Good gun to practice with. Good accuracy, speed, trigger pressure, Seemed about "average" as far as CO2 conservation. One of the main enhancements of this gun was the "Winchester" and other notices were stamped IN the gun, not just in the paint. The markings and identification added TO the gun, rather than away from it as with the others.
Cons
The plastic handles were too light looking, but a couple spritzes with some brown spray paint and they look great! The safety wasn't a big deal to me. I wish the places that sold the guns, sold additional clips, but I heard that since they are made out of Daisy, they should be available through their website.
I bought this to practice when unwilling to go to a range with my Wilson Combat 1911. It is surprisingly fun, accurate and pretty well made for an air pistol-Made in Japan! I recommend this pistol and have had no problems thus far!
product description of this item is incorrect . this is an excellent b.b. pistol and a fine replica , but the product description of this item is incorrect . the trigger is a single action only just like a real 1911.
I carry a Para 1911, 45 ACP, Commander on a regular basis and felt that this model would be good for inexpensive backyard practice. It would also be a great tool for teaching my grandsons proper marksman ship with a handgun, given the weight and functions of this model. I found the pistol to be well made with a nice finish. The accuracy was remarkable up to 40 ft.. and the recoil function was like firing a 22 cal. pistol. I believe it was a good purchasing decision considering my intended use of the pistol. The pistol fits the Blackhawk SEPRA holster perfectly.
Pros
Good quality, weight, finish and accuracy. Very enjoyable to shoot.
Cons
Would like to purchase more mags and be able to install wooden grips. The slide is very lose and the pistol could use better sights.
Question?
Login to ask someone who bought this product. How many shots can be fired till the CO2 runs out?
asked GiavonniAbout 4 magazines (15 shots each) or about 60 rounds before it will fail to cycle. Just like a real 1911, the slide must travel backward (only about 1/2 inch with this model) to cycle the next round. A 5th clip of 15 rounds can be fired (not at full power) by manually cycling the slide.
JPI want this pistol shiped to India Rajasthan Bikaner and wanted to know the cost in Indian currency

Scott from USACan u put sights or a compensator on it?
asked Joaquin SolomonShort answer, NO. Just like a real 1911, you could probably drill and tap the bottom of the frame (below the barrel) and add a tac rail. The rail itself is very cheap, but you must have access to a drill press, metal bits, and a tap kit to install it. I'm still looking for "tool-less" options, but haven't found any yet. A comp is not required, unless you want it for looks. Adding a comp might cause this gun to fail to cycle.
JPCould u pull the parts when u send it out? Because i afraid when it goes to x-ray at the airport, they will know its a gun from the shape, and get in trouble? I am in jakarta, indonesia.. if u cant, are u sure its gonna be safe? thanks cheryl

Scott from USAHow is the build quality/finish, accuracy, and reliability as far as cycling/ jamming?
asked JackI like it, best trigger pull out of all the bb guns in the sporting good store I visited... wish I bought it here, its much cheaper. Very reliable. no problems at all.
PaulExcellent so far.
Daniel from USADoes it have safety on it?
asked GraysonYes,it has thumb safety under your thumb, similar to a real 1911, except that it includes a small button that must be pressed to release the safety.
PaulIs this BB pistol loud outside?
asked rogelio garciaI use it in my neighborhood regularly.. Have never had anyone ask me about it... Honestly, I have a raccoon problem... and in a quiet neighborhood. I doesn't kill them, but gives a little sting, and they don't attack neighborhood pets around here anymore, and I've never had anyone complain or anything.
PaulIs it a great pistol to shoot?
asked rogelio garciaNoticed after my purchase of Gamo 85 that new listing includes additional mags/clips at no charge. I have ordered them from your accessory list. Can you get additional clips for this Winchester 11 as well?

Dave JonesI hunt partridge and the 12 gauge shells are expensive. So I am wondering if is this an alternative option? I'm so close to the stupid bird. Do you think this might be cheaper?
asked LarryNo. This pistol will NOT fit in a 12 gauge shotgun as ammunition. However, if you're really close, you could try using it to pistol whip (bludgeon) a partridge. Just make sure its unloaded; lf you shoot yourself, the birds gets to count YOU as a kill.
WSBNever hunt with a bb gun.! You will only wound your pray where it will run off or fly off to die a painful death somewhere far away from you in a couple of days to weeks later.
Daniel from USACan you hunt with this gun?
asked AndyNo, it would hurt the animal but not kill it. Unless it is a frog or something.

David from USAwhen you fire the last shot does the slide lock in place
asked mylesYes, this gun's slide does lock up after the last shot is fired.
David from USAIs this gun as good as it sounds?
asked jesse cochranEveryone has a different view of guns. If it sounds appealing to you then it will most likely be something you will enjoy.

asked Derek from USADerek, The Winchester 1911 air pistol shoots steel bb's only. Sincerely, The Airgun Depot Customer Care Team
Steve from USAHow long did it take to get yours?
asked christopherIs this gun a blowback?
asked chrisIt has light blowback to give you a "real gun" feel. The slide also travels on each shot and locks open when you run out of bb's.
ScottIs the gun all metal? And is it a blow back?
asked johnI am pretty sure that its all metal, except for the grip. And yes, it is blow back. You can find it under specs.
christopherDoes every bb gun use the same type of rounds?
asked alecIf it is a BB gun then yes. Most are .177 caliber, but check to make sure.
JonNo, there are different sizes of bbs, but you will almost never see a bb different than .177 cal.
adamabout how many shot per co2?
asked johnnyCO2 canisters get about 40-50 shots before running out.
Scott from USAif u where to buy one Co2 air pistol from here which one would it be
asked yigitI would get a PX4. they are really fun guns, they have nice size clips, durable, and nicely priced.
Scott from USAIs this gun worth the money that i will pay for it. does it break easy? does it shoot straight?
asked jacob bolynbb guns aren't the best for accuracy but this is a durable gun though since it is full metal. Pellet guns are much better for accuracy.
Scott from USAbb guns aren't the best for accuracy but this is a durable gun though since it is full metal. Pellet guns are much better for accuracy.
Scott from USAAre extra mags available?
asked DaidWe do not currently carry extra mags for this item.
Steve from USAcan you leave the CO2 cartridge in at all times?
asked Larrythe C)2 will eventually break the pressure seal which will break the gun if it is left in for extended period of time. This could be anywhere from 1 day to 6 months.
Scott from USAhow many rounds per CO2 cartridge?
asked Art from USAyou can fire roughly 40-50 shots fer CO2 cartridge
Scott from USAIs this gun able to be taken apart like a real gun?
asked Darius from USAYes, though some of the mechanics will differ greatly. Many people take our guns apart and modify them for more power and things of that nature. However, dismantling a gun NULLIFIES WARANTIES!
Scott from USA
This 1911 is a little 50/50 when it comes to decency and craft. But it does have its minor flaws. The slide doesn't seem to rack back in place after a decent cock, and it feels loose. Hammer is weak and the trigger feels sticky to pull. Grip handles are cheap plastic and safety is decently constructed to secure from tilting it on or off by accident.
But overall I like the model 11 replica for 3 reasons. It has an all metal frame and heft replicating a real 1911. It fires pretty good and lines up the accuracy well from up to 30 ft. And overall it is incomparable to other 1911 guns. It is well crafted by Daisy and licensed by the awesome WINCHESTER arms. For the lack of 100% detail to a real 1911, this nifty pistol holds its own and shoots a great shot with decent blow back and a slight hint if recoil.
I recommend this piece to any casual shooter or 1911 collector. But for anybody looking for the ideal replica, consider Swiss, or Tanfoglio.
P.S. "Its a DAISY."
Pros
-strong shot -whinchester collectible -reasonable price
Cons
-HARD co2 loading system. (1st time co2 blew in my hand.) -bb mag thin plastic and could easily break -wobbly slide rail
