Very quick delivery and professional service. A great entry lvl air rifle.made sturdy, looks great, Shoots well. Average feet per second 1380 . Nice scope, very accurate at 30 yards. For the $$$ its well worth it.
Pros
Quiet, accurate, nice fit and finish.great FPS
Cons
A little heavy. Trigger needed adjustment.
Have not used it yet, but the rifle does have sharp edges as reported by others. Not a problem while handling it though. It came with the upgraded scope and the lesser scope. I will write again after using it. This is a very nice looking, well made product.
I waited for the NP2 to come out after shopping Benjamin Trails in .22 caliber last year. In my area, an NP2 can't be had for love nor money in brick and mortar stores.
I'm not going to complain about sharp edges on the plastic stock. Not that sharp. Not a big deal. This is a very good value. The gun hits hard. Cocking effort is very easy. The sound right out of the box was incredibly quiet. With a lead pellet at subsonic speed the only sound is a thunk. I would compare it with maybe a rubber mallet struck, not very hard, against a 2x4. I was amazed. If I hadn't seen the hits on the target I'd never have believed it fired a pellet. Trigger break was set just right at the factory.
The deal from air gun depot was better than I anticipated. They sent the boxed combo containing the original lesser scope as well as the upgraded scope and the sling. So, I ended up with another scope I can use on some old plinker. The better scope has surprisingly good optics. The lighted reticle is much brighter than I anticipated even on the lowest setting.
This was an adult gun purchased by an adult for adult use. I paid $250. You can ignore the reviews that seem to be from grouchy kids or teenagers. This rifle is what it claims to be. Pros have posted reviews on YouTube and tested the claimed FPS. I'm sure Benjamin fudged the numbers a bit. I didn't put shots past a chronograph. I wanted a just-subsonic-with-lead .22 with a decent scope that was reliable, accurate, and quiet. That's what I got. If that's what you are looking for too, I don't see how you can miss with this combo deal.
Pros
It is as advertised. All in all...a great gun.
This rifle is very accurate. I purchased it primarily because I live in a neighborhood with close neighbors, it's quiet enough to the point I don't alert anyone when shooting in the backyard, and accurate enough to not send pellets flying in directions I don't want them to go. The power seems to be no more than other gas piston rifles, but for shooting cans, etc. it's not a problem. I'm also using it to teach my 12 year old son to shoot, and it's safe enough I don't have to worry about him on his own.
Pros
Crystal clear scope at 16X magnification. The combo is a great value with the upgraded scope for $50 more. The trigger is very clean, with a crisp break. The cocking effort is very low, and the amount of power is just right, safe yet hard hitting. It's also very quiet, ideal for shooting around neighbors.
Cons
Range: anywhere out past 50 yards, the pellets seem to drop into the ground. If you are aiming to hit targets 50 yards or more, this may not be the way to go. However it is ideal for 20-30 yds. The power is not excessive, but for me it's not a problem.
Question?
Login to ask someone who bought this product.is the picatinny optics rail connected to a dovetail? or is it just sitting on top of the barrel..glued or welded or is the picatinny rail on it removable
asked shawnIt appears to be glued on the receiver as I can see no mounting screws which would hold it in place.
Tom from USAThe rail is welded to the rifle and therefore not removable.
BOBBY from USAI need a good hunting Rifle. birds, squirrels, and bigger game like raccoons. was wondering f this would be a good match for that, or if there is another gun even more preferred.
asked matthewI would get the Trail XL or Diana 350, both of which are more powerful for bigger stiff like coons. Whatever you gun you get there is always more power to be had by fixing its flaws, like leaking seals. A 20% gain in power is fairly common with fixes, or "tuning". If you're into that stuff I have info on how to do it. chevota at hotmail. The Hatsan 125 makes good power too, but heavy cocking effort. A BAM M28 or Ruger RAM is a chinese copy of a 350, so similar but cheaper. An Umarex Octane is also a good choice. I don't have one but people seem to like them a lot.
ROBERT from USAhow consistent is the accuracy?

This air rifle was a tack driver for about 40 shots. Then it was all over the place. Replaced the scope thinking it was bad. Resighted it in. Was good for about 10 shots. Then it was a shotgun pattern on the paper. Was told "You must have gotten a bad rifle". RMA has been issued. Still waiting for shipping label for return and new one to be sent. So the jury is still out on this one.
