The Air Venturi Avenger Regulated PCP Air Rifle with Red and Blue Laminate stock is still the answer to the call for an incredibly flexible and accurate entry level PCP, now with an amazing Laminate stock. Airgunners demanded a high-value air rifle capable of performing a number of different tasks, and Air Venturi put all of those features in a single, affordable package with the Avenger.

The updated Laminate stock lends this air rifle a solid feel and additional weight and it still features two mounting holes for sling swivel studs for ease of use in the forest or field.

What makes this air rifle so different, particularly at this low price point, is its superior adjustability. It features an externally adjustable regulator and hammer spring to enable a wide range of tuning possibilities.

The regulator has a maximum pressure of 3000 PSI, and a high-power, high-pressure setup works well for those with a high-pressure compressor, while a lower-pressure, lower-power setup might work better for those with a hand pump. With a regulator pressure gauge on the right side and a fill pressure gauge on the left side, this air rifle lets shooters easily monitor and adjust the airgun to best suit their specific needs at different times.

In addition to flexibility, this air rifle also includes a smooth sidelever to easily cycle the auto-indexing magazines, two of which are included to maximize shooting time and minimize reloading time. The two-stage trigger adjusts to yield a clean and light break, and the air cylinder features a male quick-disconnect fitting on the end protected by a threaded dust cap to allow easy fills and protect it from dirt and dust while enhancing the air rifle's looks.

The air rifle will accept a variety of scope mounts because it has a convenient 11mm dovetail and Weaver combination optics rail. In addition, it includes an upgraded metal Picatinny accessory rail on the fore-end to add accessories such as laser, lights, and bipods.

I wonder how much air volume that regulator is capable of delivering? Up to 3000psi regulated with over 4000psi in reservoir? Likely not alot of shot count at such gross maxed out settings, but maybe enough for slinging some serious ft/lbs of energy down range for a few rounds of massive projectiles such as precision hand produced slugs? Perhaps this might be another mod platform and candidate for introduction of a .257 barrel? Anyone? Class? Class? Anyone? Darn it, I can only imagine! I suppose a limiting factor in such case is the magazine. However they do include S/S tray.

Wow! Looks like alot of airgun for the money. Can anyone honestly comment on how this compares to the Marauder in .25 cal? I can't help but notice many features not included in my Marauder and at a much lower cost. What is the trade off? Is the fit, finish and quality less? Are production costs that much different for offshore product? I am concerned if recent tarrifs will affect pricing and availability? If I wasn't so cash strapped and financially wrecked by recent changes within the economy, I would have loved to spontaneously purchase this for no other reason than a test spin! I would definately report back to everyone a diligent review! Sadly, no opportunity at the moment... Who can describe their experience and allow us to vicariously experience this airgun through their musings? Inquiring minds must know! Sure is a looker in that laminate stock. I would love a ambidextrous thumbhole laminate stock offeriing!

I own this and a Marauder in .25 Cal and they both are perfect !

I bought one in 22 caliber synthetic stock. Loved it so much. I purchased a 25 with a laminate Stock. Unless you just have to have the extra energy, I would stick with the 22 it shoots the Crossman premiere pellets in less than 1 inch group at 50 yards. I would also up for the laminate Stock or Woodstock. Trouble free awesome little gun.
