Tolerable, not a bottom level item
Pros
Not way overpriced, bought because I couldn't source an all metal FAS
Cons
Change the plastic upper to metal
Those how have sight adjustment problems read this: rear sight left side of blade slot adjusts the gap width, right side screw moves the gap left and right, And the center top screw elevation ccw up and cw down I hope this help.
Pros
After a year+ I now have 2 working V10s . Melted the receiver with military weapons lubs. Air Venturi found a receiver and sent it free of charge.
I now have 2 of these fine pistols, one with a melted receiver(part # 14550) and one working pistol. Air Venturi cannot get parts for these. They have tried for over a year to supply this part for my pistol. I live in the USA and have searched all the suppliers. Gamo Compact is the same basic pistol with the same parts listing, pictures and part # but none in the USA.
Pros
Accurate
Cons
Some of the major plastic parts are not resistant to petroleum products. The receiver will melt from being exposed to military oils such as MILTEC
Pros
Good feel and grip.
Cons
I have sent this pistol in twice now for warranty work regarding gas system. Between 5 and 10, shots I would pull the trigger and get phfft. Recock and it would fire. Now back from repairs and and it is worse then when I sent it in. I am getting one shot out of every 3 to 5 cockings. I like this gun but it is useless in it's current state.
Pros
10 shot string within 7 feet/second out of the box averaging 360 f/s w/ JSB Green 7.33g . One hole group capable and a joy to shoot. It is just expensive enough to feel like you've got something special for a bargain.
Cons
There is no sight gap. My frame to trigger group is clunky.
The price was the major selling point for me. I shoot international pistol nine or ten times a year so I didn't want to spend a lot on an air pistol. The gun is very accurate.
The biggest negatives are the trigger and sights.
I am tall (6' 2"), but not abnormally tall, so the distance from my eye to the sights is probably a little longer than it is for most people. Out of the box, there was no light visible between the edges of the front and rear sights when the sights were correctly aligned. I filed the notch in the rear sight so that it was a little wider. This was not easy to do neatly because the rear sight is plastic.
The trigger pull is 2# and is not adjustable. This is a hard trigger pull for an air pistol.
I also have trouble getting the pellet in the barrel.
In a thirty round match, fatigue from cocking the pistol does become a factor and you do have to be careful not to get any part of your hand caught in the pistol when cocking it.

Loading
The gun is accurate and once I got used to it, the grip was fine
Pros
Accurate.
Cons
Hard to load. It took way too long to try to get the pellet in the gun. On several occasions, upon pulling the trigger - nothing happened and I would have to repump. HOWEVER, when I released the barrel to reload, it would sometimes fire. Safety hazard if I were not trained to always keep guns pointed down range. I wish I could love this gun, but it just isn't happening yet. I am thinking that maybe I got the one gun that was bad in all that were made.
This has been a great air pistol
It hangs on the coat rack by the front door, it gets a lot of use, and has had many, many thousands of pellets through it. Even at my age I can still split a 177 in half on a knife blade at 20 feet with it ( 30 years ago I was a professional trick shot ). Mine can still put them in one hole at 10m from a rest, and is still shooting 400 fps
Pros
Everything
Cons
Cocking is not for the weak
It has the accuracy. It has an adjustable trigger. The grips are large, but easily sanded down to fit your hand. The contour of the grips, and the palm shelf make getting a repeatable grip easy. My rear sight needed to be widened a bit.
I couldn't get myself to modify the OEM grips, so made new ones. This is an impressive pistol for the price. Still my Avanti 747 out shoots it and cocks and loads easier. However the grips on this pistol, and it's smaller size make it a winner too. This pistol has shot well with RWS 7gr match pellets and only a little less accurate with Gamo match wadcutters. Mine came with a case that also has room for a tin of pellets. I would rate it 5 stars if it were easier to cock and load.

Hard to cock and load for a 10 Meyer pistol.
Question?
Login to ask someone who bought this product. Can this be used for dry-firing exercises?
asked John from USAIs anyone else having problems with windage adjustment? I have the rear sights cranked almost all of the way over and still hitting to the right.
asked Anthony from USAIs it available for left handed users
asked Robert from USAThe grip is too big to hold, how to deal with this problem?
asked JohnHow does it cock, sidelever or overlever? How much effort to cock? Is the pellet port easy to access?
asked jimIt is a single stroke pneumatic. You cock it by lifting the upper barrel assembly up and over. Place a pellet in the breech. Then close. Closing takes some effort.
Greg from USAUpper receiver tilts forward. Cocks on the downstroke returning the upper receiver to its original position.
JVIs this grooved for adding optical sights?
asked Mike MillerThat's a big fat negative , but , that being said it wasn't made for optic sights either , its a TEN METER PISTOL :-) By the way I owned this little Gem , and it is one accurate PISTOLA :-) Gamo has a Gem here , and it is worth every penny , AND THAT MY FRIENDS IS FIRST HAND EXPERIENCE :-) Kelly A. Bodish -KB Custom-Gunsmith
Kelly from USAIt is possible to use GAMO PBA non lead ammo? What speed increase is possible, if any? Thanks
asked larry IsaacsPBA lessens accuracy with the higher fps. This is a match pistol and the ideal fps range is between 360 and 410 @ 10 meters.
Michael from USAYes you can use the PBA, and it should increase the fps by at least 50.
Carter from USAThe Gamo PBA Raptor pellets are rated to Increase Velocity 25% (On guns whose speed is rated with normal lead pellets)
Steve from USA
shot at 23 feet one hand no support (age 80+)
Pros
After the initial set up the pistol shoots accurate, Love it
Cons
I wish there are instruction how to lubricate the piston.
