The Beeman Raider gives you a PCP air rifle that fits within almost any budget and serves as an excellent way to get started with shooting pre-charged pneumatic airguns. You'll enjoy speeds up to 1050 fps in .177, 900 fps in .22, and 800 fps in .25, because this air rifle gives you the precision and power you need for effective pesting, plinking, and small game hunting.

One of the features that will surprise you the most on this air rifle is that you get a beautiful hardwood stock that gives it the elegant looks and familiar handling of a traditional air rifle, something not often seen at this price level.

The Beeman Raider gives you plenty of shots per fill because it has an air cylinder that fills to 3500 psi (241 bar), and you'll also appreciate how easy it is to keep track of the fill pressure thanks to the integrated fill pressure gauge on the bottom of the air rifle. Plus, you'll get shots that are quieter than similar air rifles from other manufacturers because of the shrouded barrel and noise reduction system.

So that you can get accurate shots right out of the box without needing extra accessories, this air rifle comes with a hooded fixed front fiber optic sight and a rear sight you can adjust for both elevation and windage. You also get an 11mm dovetail scope rail so you can add your favorite scope or other optic to get better long range accuracy.

If you're in the market for a PCP air rifle with a hardwood stock at a price you can afford, get the Beeman Raider from Airgun Depot now.

This is a great entry level PCP and I really wish this was an option when I first took the plunge! Inexpensive (especially when on sale) but good quality for the money. The Raider actually seems to be the budget version of the Chief II. In fact, I would think it could be upgraded with a regulator for the Chief II. Also, for those that are curious, the "moderator" is in fact removable (there is even a hex shaped hole in the end for an allen key). My gun came with zero air in the tube, but with a cheap compressor it went from 0 to 3500psi in around 5 minutes. After 2 mags, topping off took under a minute. No fill probe to lose and the bottom mounted gauge is great. Mags are easy to load and haven't jammed yet. LOP is 14.25 inches, the weight is just right and over all feels very nice in the hand. The Raider seems like a solid option as a budget/first PCP, especially for a younger/smaller person. I am quite impressed so far.

Pros
Pros: Light weight, good size for a younger shooter, shoots straight out of the box with cheap Crosman 14.3gr hollow points, 2 mags at full power. Iron sights work well but are so big they block a small target. Not too loud but could be better. Hammer spring is easy to adjust.

Cons
Cons: The bolt is gritty while cocking the hammer (acceptable/expected on a cheaper gun) and hopefully this will get smoother with use. Another thing might be that the Beech stock scratches easily (but don't they all?)

Pros
Excellent value, love the wood stock and huge knurled nolt handle, great power from the .22.

Cons
Loud, I modified an old sound moderator to fit on it to quiet it down.

It has threaded barrel for moderator and it has built in male fitting .

I don't think it has a threaded barrel. I haven't seen any adapter for it either.
