The Benjamin Prowler breakbarrel air rifle gives you great features for plinking, pesting, or small game hunting without breaking your budget. Shooting at speeds up to 1250 fps with alloy pellets, it's an upgrade from the older model that includes a shrouded barrel to give you quieter shots.

Using a Nitron Piston powerplant rather than a spring piston gives you shots with less recoil, less noise, and smoother cocking and shooting than a traditional breakbarrel. You'll also notice less vibration when shooting, better performance in cold weather, the ability to leave the rifle cocked for longer periods because there's no spring fatigue, and the fact that the rifle doesn't lose power over time because it doesn't have a spring.

The best new feature on the air rifle is the upgraded barrel that now includes QuietFire noise reduction technology, so your shrouded barrel gives you shots that are quieter than before without forcing you to use high scope rings that can cause poor eye positioning. You can also maintain a solid hold on the rifle despite rain or moisture because of the texturing on the grip and forearm, and the raised cheekpiece lets you get proper cheek weld shot after shot.

This package comes with a CenterPoint 4x32 scope and mount that fits on the 11mm scope rail for added accuracy. Plus, the two stage trigger is adjustable to give you the consistency you need, and the rubber buttpad makes your experience more comfortable.

If you want a capable breakbarrel air rifle combo with enough power for pesting, small game hunting, and plinking, buy a Benjamin Prowler today at Airgun Depot.

Based on others reviews I’ve considered investing in better optics…

Pros
Excellent pest management tool! Decent accuracy out of the box, and really delivers on power with Barracuda pellets.

Cons
Nothing to complain about.

Have shot a couple of hundred rounds threw it, hopping the break action eases up as time goes on

Pros
Shoots strait and hard. It is a little heavy & long, but I like it a lot.

Cons
The scope sucks that came with it, I put a 3x9x40 Hawke on it.

Pros
Accurate with the correct scope. I have bi vocals and could never hit constantly. Put a BSA red dot on it, got 3 wood chucks last year alone and a couple the year before. NOTE: mine is a .22.

Cons
I would love to see iron sights.

Quality is above average for a $104.00 rifle even without the scope. From what I've read about the scope, someone did me a favor by taking it...if you buy this rifle, you wont be sorry in either caliber they shoot about the same.

Pros
I have the .22 version and the. 177 is slightly less powerful. Less than half inch groups at 50ft. Knockdown power is good. Quiet and backyard friendly.

Cons
Bought at wm and the scope was missing. Had the rings so I bought a $35.00 winchester 813 AO scope and it works great.
