Tried 2 different scope's both would not sight in. Rear open sight sloppy
I have owned this model for a year now and it has perfomed outstandingly. The trigger can be improved by a simple mod of changing the spring. It is quiet and very powerful!
Pros
Powerful, quiet, easy to cock, accurate, fun to shoot.
Cons
Trigger needed work, but all it needed was to replace trigger spring with a lighter one.
power is there but need to improve trigger to a softer one
Pros
would you happen to have trigger kit softer than what is installed ?
I've only shot it enough to sight in the scope, but it worked well. Would have given 5 stars if the scope was better
Pros
Very accurate
Cons
Scope is not good
First of all right out of the box this is a beautiful gun! Fit and finish is superb! Smoothest cocking air gun I own and I have 24 of them in various brands and caliber! Accuracy is top notch, able to shoot hole in hole on the target! If you are at all on the fence about this gun, BUY IT, you will not be disappointed!
Cons
Trigger is a little stiff and the scope is trash but I just put a Leapers on it and good to go!

asked Jeremy ThomasIt states in the written description that the rifle has an adjustable 2 stage trigger but where it lists the specs it says non adjustable 2 stage trigger. So I'm asking which is it, adjustable or non adjustable? Also how is the trigger, smooth and clean creaking?'

Since .177 pellets are cheaper than .22, I went back to use the Benjamin Rogue. After another 3 months practices, I found I began to love this air rifle:
Is it still loud? Yes, but it's only loud for the shooter, other people don't hear it loud. This is due to SPD suppressing muzzle break sound, and all that loudness is due to hammer kicks which is only loud to the shooter. I wear a pair of earbuds, problem solved.
Is it heavy and difficult to hold steady? Is its trigger heavy? Yes, but that's not a problem for training. These are challenges for training and make you a better shooter.
Does it have strong recoil? Yes, I actually start to like the recoil than the PCP's no recoil. The feeling is like mechanic vs electronic watch, yes, electronic watch is more accurate, has more features, but no way to compare with mechanic.
How about its low-end scope and pellet picky? Yes, it's still true, but not a problem at all for training and enjoying.
Now I love the Benjamin Rogue.
Pros
I need an air rifle for pest control. The Benjamin Rogue was my first air rifle. I bought it because it claims to be very quiet and backyard friendly.
Cons
When I firstly got it, I was very disappointed: It was very loud, it was heavy and difficult to hold steady, its trigger was heavy, it has very strong recoil, its scope was low-end, it's pellet picky, etc. I tried to sight it in but my shot groupings were initially wide and all over the place. It is just inaccurate! 3 months later, I gave up on it and bought another .22 PCP air rifle. That one was excellent: Very quiet, light, no recoil, light and smooth trigger, more powerful, very good grouping and accuracy. After I settled down with that new PCP for pest control. I started my practical training plan. I decide to train myself with the most challenge position - off hand position.
