This is a very nice pellet gun for the money. Weight is excellent, and it fits well in my hand with the stock backing. Did not even try to use the second one. Nice groups at 5 yards indoors, looking forward to heading outdoors at seven and ten yards later this summer.
Pros
Good balance, Easy to load air cylinder, Accurate
Cons
None
I bought the Walther CP99B Pellet pistol for my wife to improve her shooting skills with her real 9mm, a Sig 320. It was a great purchase. She has improved because the weight, balance and trigger are very close to the real gun. Earlier, I had bought a PPQ air gun, which I found very satisfactory. At least until I shot her CP99B. Wow, what an excellent gun. Obviously well made, but also very accurate and fun to shoot. As you may guess, I'm considering getting one for myself instead of feeling envy for hers. Expensive, but worth it.
Pros
Exceptional accuracy. Weight and handling very much like a real 9mm. Well made.
Cons
Expensive
Just as the title says, this gun is one of the very few pellet pistols I have owned that has kept it's accuracy & overall build without the need of any real repair. The weathered look from the everyday air has gave it a beautiful shade. I am very eager for a Walther CP99 v2.0!
Pros
Pretty much everything!
These are one of the finer Umarex guns. Made in Germany and the quality shows. The more pellets you put through it the smoother the trigger pull. Fun gun I own pretty much all of the Umarex German made air guns, CP88, Colt 1911, Beretta 92, and the HK. The cp99 is one of my favorites. advice...buy extra magazines and definitely purchase the laser attachment.
Pros
The over-all German construction and they come in a nice storage case.
Cons
The sights are plain black but easy to customize. I used a small drill bit, some white fingernail polish and made some factor looking 3 dot sights! (See photos)
Has a great feel and is very heavy and accurate. My first gun. For cheaper version take Umarex CPS
Pros
Nice feeling
Cons
High cost for magazines
The CP99 is a great bb gun. It does not have the power you would expect from a bb or pellet rifle, but it does have decent accuracy and a very stylish design. This gun is not especially good for target practice or long range shooting, but it is definitely a lot of fun. This is my favorite bb gun I have ever owned. Buy it! :)
Well over all nice gun, But the gun had hardly any velociy.you might be able to shoot a cigar from 10 m but did it go through?
i shoot a cigar from 10 m
I have recently bought a CP99, and I love the solid feel and grip. It is very accurate and follows well. If you are looking for a quality pellet gun that is not too pricy then this is it!!

asked Khondker Rifat from USAI'd like to use a Dagger recital sight with a Walther CP99 handgun. Can you recommend a mount that attaches securely and is otherwise clear of all the gun's working parts?
asked Dr C J from USAWhat is most powerful pallet for this gun.
asked Lisa from USAIs the stated muzzle velocity with PBA or lead?
asked Larry from USAWhat type of kydex holster will this fit in? Thanks in advance!
asked Brian.batesCan the green color is in stock
asked JohnHow do you load the CO2 cartridge
asked waltRemove cartridge holder from grip by pinching the release on the trigger guard. Turn the bottom (i.e. shoe) of the cartridge holder 180deg in the direction of Open (as noted on bottom of shoe). Insert the CO2 cartridge, and finger tighten the thumb screw at the bottom of the cartridge. Then turn the shoe 180deg in the direction of Power as noted on the shoe. This punctures the cartridge tip allowing the release of the CO2. Finally, sharply shove the cartridge holder back into the grip. And that is that.
Dr C J from USAHi i would like to know what is the difference between MODEL CP99B Repeater and .....MODEL CP99 (no repeated), because price is $100 difference. Thank you so much

Scott from USAMy magazine is broken, can you please specify what type of the magazine I need to purchase and how? Thanks a lot
asked FelixHei , folks, I Question from Norway here for you. Can Walter CP99 Compact fire both bb pellet`s and lead pott`s
asked Bengt from Norway1) This is NOT the CP99 Compact which is a BB ONLY pistol. 2) The CP99 should be able to fire BBs if you purchase the BB rotary "magazines". But firing steel BBs will wear your barrel for no advantage. I've heard of lead BBs - but have never seen any available for sale. I own and enjoy a few Umarex airguns. I love the quality of my CP99 but, by far, prefer my BB pistols: cheaper by amm, cheaper by gas, faster to use, higher mag capacity, more fun! I've not yet bought the CP99 Compact but have the PPS which I can't recommend enough.
Hamish BondYes it can, just buy the BB mags. The pellets and BB's are the same size for mags. Just remember, this gun is rilfed so using steel BB's will wear the gun rilfing out with many shots.
john from USAIt shoots pellets only.
