To use the FX Indy bullpup is extremely easy. You start first by completely filling the rifle by using the onboard hand pump or the male foster quick disconnect fitting. Then you're ready to shoot. Depending on the caliber of gun you?ll achieve anywhere between 2-10 full power shots. Then simply use the integrated compression hand pump to pump the gun back to full power. This takes approximately 15-18 pumps to refill, and know that the hand pump isn?t overly difficult. The FX Indy air rifle is versatile tool and a perfect airgun for many. If you want to go hunt in the field but don't want to carry extra outboard tanks, the Indy is for you. Perhaps you want a gun at the ready for pest control, but don't really plan on shooting it all day long, you should pick up an FX Indy. This is one of my best guns for hunting out of a stable of 18 guns. The gun is very accurate (1/2" groups at 75 yards) trigger pull one of the best, cycling is great. We all kow that the big bores take more air. I found my best performance is at 150 bars. With a 44.75 grain pellet it is shooting High 924 FPS and Low of 912 FPS average 917 giving it a 83.76 FPE. After I fire my shot set on 150 bars, it takes 14 pumps to take it back up to 150. If needed, the second shot follow up will do but it is low because it only has about 700 FPS. Now for the bad new, it has been sent back four times for resealing at $90 each time on the last three returns. First time was under warranty. I don't shoot the gun much fearing it will start leaking but the leak developes setting in the safe.
