The FX Wildcat MKIII Compact represents a huge upgrade over what was already a market leading bullpup air rifle in the Wildcat MKII. Although it looks similar to previous Wildcats at first glance, don't be fooled. FX made this airgun fully adjustable by combining their AMP regulator with a new rear power adjuster with 7 preset positions for hammer spring tension. You get even more precision with a hole for an Allen wrench in the 8th position. They also improved the main block by enhancing the plenum volume and bulking up the valving and airflow. These changes give you more power, more shots, and more consistency to go along with supreme adjustability. Another big upgrade FX made is the magazine. This rifle uses the same FX Side-Shot magazine that the Dreamline and Crown do, and it gives you over double the capacity of the old Wildcat MKII magazine. FX also added a regulator pressure gauge in the stock to accompany the one for the air cylinder. A Picatinny optics rail now comes standard on these airguns, instead of the 11mm dovetail, and a 1/2" UNF threaded muzzle means you can add a moderator. Also standard on the new Wildcat MKIII is the improved Superior STX liner system. Like all FX air rifles with STX liners, you can swap these Superior liners for different calibers and projectile weight. Of course, this air rifle still has the features you know and love, like the silky smooth sidelever and best in class two stage adjustable trigger. And because this is the Compact model, it's about a foot shorter and about a pound lighter than the Sniper model, so you don't have to worry about snagging it in dense brush or lugging it around all day. This airgun is full of precision engineered improvements, so if you're ready to upgrade to the infinitely adaptable bullpup air rifle that all others are measured against, get the FX Wildcat MKIII Compact now.

I own 5 airguns and 3 are PCPs but this is my first high-mid one. I love my Air Venturi Avenger in the same caliber but it will be collecting dust now. The weight, the trigger, the consistant shots are just as close to perfect as I need. Sure an Impact M3 or M4 is better but this gun is high quality and much simpler to use. I just want it to hunt squirrels so no need for slugs or 100 yard. This is exactly what I wanted from an airgun. I live in Illinois so I have to go with the .177 but get the .22.

Pros
The overall quality of the airgun is crazy nice. I love the stock and even though it's light weight you know it is built right. The trigger OMG it's perfect at 1 pound and the second stage is crisp but super light so will not change aim in the trigger pull. YOu have to get use to it but I love it.

Cons
The only con I have is the fact you have a fill probe. It not a big deal but if you get the BT model you will not have this issue

PLEASE, get the sniper version in .30. I'm confident you will enjoy it more.

Pros
This is my first high end bullpup FX gun and I like ever8about it. It's adjustable and comes with the superior STX slug liner.

Cons
It came with an old manual. I love to know more about this gun like how do you adjust the regulator.

The magazine in my Wildcat MK111 seems to be jammed. Is there a trick to removing it? I cannot fire nor remove the magazine. Any suggestions?

asked Lise from USA

There might be a pellet stuck between the mag and the barrel. I would try and remove the barrel, which should free the mag. Loosen the two screws (2mm hex key) on top of cheek rest to remove the cheek rest. You will see one small screw (2mm hex key again) and a larger set screw (4mm hex key) that hold the barrel in place. Once these are loosened, twist and pull the barrel forward. It should come out easily. The mag will probably fall out one the barrel is moved forward. I would also look down the barrel to make sure no pellets are jammed in there.

Ronald from USA
