So, I bought and already had the .25 cal Crown. Its Shooting 967 fps with the 25.3 grain JSB, Regulated at 138. I thought I would like 177 cal Shroud Barrel Kit to be able push some Heavy .177 Pellets around my Backyard. 13.5 grain 177 JSB Pellets, with Regulator still set at 138 were pushing out at 916 fps 920, and very good groupings. The Barrel Shroud Kit in 177 is shorter than the .25 Cal. about 2 1/2 inches Shorter. I honestly didnt see anywhere on AD Site where it said Barrel Shroud Kit was going to be Shorter than the .25. I was Hoping to Shoot some 16 grain JSB 177 at about 980 fps, but with this Shorter Barrel I believe I would have to Increase the Reg to 140 to 145 and didnt want to do that. Overall still glad I have the .177 Shroud Kit, but didnt get the fps that I was hoping for, also im just going to add , that Barrel was really Dirty, probably put 20 patches thru the Barrel.
Pros
Good Quality, easy install, No problems
Cons
Shorter Barrel, Lower fps .177

asked BrendanCan I use a FX 22 caliber barrel liner in my FX crown .177 barrel/shroud?
asked PearlI recently purchased the 177 barrel kit for my Crown and I've noticed when i was cleaning it at that the moderator end cap hole is the same diameter as the 22 I was wondering if this is normal. I see on your website that you sell different size moderator end caps for the specific calibers for the FX streamline. That is why I am asking. Side note, that I am very pleased with the FX crown performance and having multiple caliber barrels as well. Thank you!
asked Wesley SikoraI had recently purchased the FX x barrel in 177 for my Crown. I noticed that moderator end cap on the 177 was the same size as the moderator and cap on the 22. I have taken pictures of the this and was wondering if there is any differences that you are aware of?

Easy to install, shoots a lot better than my 177 Streamline 1.25 group at 20 yards. The Crown 177 kit groups good at 20 yards. 1/4" groups.
Pros
Easy to change.
Cons
None
