Solution - Purchase one M5-.8x30 replacement screw and a standard washer from a hardware store. I bought one with the same Allen head as the stock MK2 rear mounting screw. One less tool. IMO ... this should come with the synthetic replacement stock.

Pros
Recently purchased this replacement stock for a Crown MK2. The stock is of excellent quality and feel.

Cons
The replacement stock will NOT fit a Crown MK2 rifle unless you replace the forward mounting hardware. The stock MK2 screw is too short and its brass washer is too large to fit in the slot in the replacement stock. Perhaps the new stock was made for the original Crown rifle.

This stock is made from the best synthetic material I have ever owned. I have owned 6 different rifles with synthetic stocks. This rates Number 1.

Pros
I didn’t buy this as a replacement stock, it was the stock on my Crown VP. This material feels very nice, smooth but not hard to grip. It has the same contours/dimensions as the wooden stock, I believe. I have a medium to small hand and this fits me well. I turned the trigger a few degrees so the fleshy part of my trigger finger contacts it 100% and this makes the stock fit me superbly. The butt plate moves down so when standing, the comb comes up just right whilst the butt is correctly against my shoulder. Can’t ask for more customization.

Cons
Maybe include a factory-installed rail underneath so a bipod could attach quickly? I’m afraid to drill into the material because I don’t know if it will hold up to screw threads. And glue? Don’t know about that either. I use a rest at the range, so no big deal. I don’t shoot prone in the forest so I don’t really need a bipod
