The Refurbished RWS 34P Pro Compact is a shortened version of the 34P and RWS P Pro air rifles. The air rifle is built from the same reliable air gun as the Model 34 and 34P. It operates from the same proven break barrel system and has the same all-weather synthetic black stock that's made for both right- and left-hand shooters. The 34P Professional also has an ambidextrous automatic safety, rifled barrel and two-stage adjustable trigger. The difference between the 34 Pro Compact and the 34 is elegance. The 34 Pro's receiver and barrel have a matte finish that provides a rich look. At the front of this 34 Pro rifle is a large muzzle brake that adds heft and a holding point for cocking the spring piston. In the box to top off this German made air rifle is an airgun scope and 1-piece mount. The air rifle scope is a 3-9x44 with an adjustable octave. This Model 34 RWS Pro Compact is shortened with an overall length of just 42-1/8 inches. A compact size rifle that is easier to handle when quickly plinking or aiming at small pests.

Cannot beat AGDs refurbished prices and gun is like brand new.
Pros
Amazing trigger, no recoil, superior construction
Cons
Little louder than done other similarly priced air guns; no joke about Diana's arriving dry, but some RWS oil too!
This is my first air rifle experience other than BB guns as a kid. I was surprised by the weight of the rifle. It will be difficult for me to hold steady on a target without a prop. The groups I could manage were no where near as tight as the pros show but whose fault was that? After about an hour of fussing and adjusting at the ranged I managed a two inch group at 18 meters. I think I will do better with more practice with the trigger. The factory setting on the trigger is what I would call light but I am not going to mess with that. I will learn to like it. The one issue I found annoying was that I had trouble getting the pellets into the breach. It was as though there is a burr or lip right at the edge so I would have to wiggle or almost jam the pellet to get it to fit. I know what you're thinking....Dummy used some off brand or the wrong caliber. No, these were the two different types of RWS pellets that come in the RWS cleaning kit....the Superdome and the Meisterkugeln. I can't help but think that some of the poor grouping is due to pellets misshapen on insertion. Perhaps with time this will improve.
Pros
Construction.....seems very well made.
Scope has great magnification for old eyes.
Cons
Weight
Burr(s) at the breach ?
I own almost 100 airguns to include a Walther LGU .177, RWS DIANA 48 .22 and numerous Hatsan rifles. This RWS DIANA Pro 34 is one of the most accurate rifles I have ever shot. I am amazed a break-barrel can produce this type of accuracy. At 20 yards shooting the JSB 10.34 grain pellets I produced 10 shot groups .20" CTC (SEE ATTACHED PHOTO)
Pros
This is German built and the quality is obvious. This is worth every penny!!! The stock scope is not bad but I upgraded to a UTG 4-16x50 RGB Mil-Dot Reticle. When you cock this gun you realize how solid it is and how tight the tolerances are. This come stock with the T06 trigger, I left it on the stock adjustment and it breaks at a light 1.5 lbs. I can't get over the accuracy!! You literally can stack one pellet on top of another. I set my gun up with side picatinny rails and use split bi-pods. There is not a more accurate break barrel rifle period and this was right out of the box. I only have about 100 pellets through it and this could get even better, although I don't know how. BUY THIS RIFLE you will not be sorry!!!
Cons
The rifle is a little front heavy because of the heavy steel muzzle break. Although with the bi-pods it makes for a nice heavy, solid foundation. There really is no negatives!
I picked up the RWS 34p Pro Compact as a refurb. With my coupon code I got it for 179.00 and I couldn't possibly be happier. Gun arrived without a scratch or mark on it. I mounted the supplied scope (which isn't terrible but I have a higher power Hawke on the way). After cleaning the barrel I started shooting. Smooth cocking effort, no typical dry honking RWS's are known for.
5 shot .38" CTC at 20 yd groups right out of the box. I can't imaging it shooting better and I haven't even got 200 shots through it yet.
It had a hint of twang but I took care of that with some heavy tar on the spring.
If another RWS refurb comes up I will be adding it to my collection
My only gripe is the quality of the synthetic stock. While it looks good, it feels cheap. My Walther Terrus synthetic puts the RWS to shame. The Walther feels like wood painted black, rock solid.
Pros
German quality, German accuracy, T-06 trigger is my favorite yet.
Cons
Stock is cheap feeling. Scope is adequate for starting out but anyone with knowledge will drop a better one on the gun fairly quickly.
Stock was dinged up, but not a deal breaker. Scope was different than advertised, again not a deal breaker as I put a better scope on it than the RWS scope.
Very accurate.
Pros
TO6 trigger, good shooter for a refurb.
Bought a refurb TO6 and have about a tin of pellets thru it. Very accurate, German quality. Stock was a little dinged up but not a deal breaker.
Pros
TO6 trigger, proven platform, German engineering, very accurate.
Cons
none
Received this rifle roughly 10 days ago. I bought this rifle so i can "take care" of my squirrel problem in the attic. Truly amazing the accuracy and knock down punch firing Gamo Red Fires. The weight and feel of this rifle is very good, like the real thing. Impressive. and it took no time to dial it in for accuracy.
Pros
Accuracy
Set-up
quality
powerful
Cons

The AGD photo is exactly what you get! T06 Trigger too! Blemish free example is in my hands and she is beautiful! The weight of the airgun is manageable as you shoulder this beauty and sight thru the excellent glass included with this combo. Tighten the stock screws, lube the spring, and clean the barrel for an enjoyable day of plinking, target or pest control.
Pros
Exceptional and high-quality workmanship from this German engineering airgun wonder!
Cons
Change the item description butt plate to plastic. No rubber on this refurbished model. (4 stars)
I purchased the refurbished model / version which came with an RWS brand 3-9 x 40 scope and T 05 trigger. Stock finnish is very smooth with older style checkering. I was initially going to go with the RWS 34 model but had concerns over reported "hold sensitivity" then this model came available as a "refurb" at an awesome price so I immediately jumped on the deal. No cosmetic issues which would show that it is a refurb BUT the scope cover was cracked as it had been wrapped in paper. I've read other's concerns over their packaging, have bought three rifles from them and still have issued with the packaging. With that said, the metal finish on this rifle is excellent and shows good attention to detail. The finish is non glare, and the flat portion on top of the chamber is grooved so as not to create a glare when the shooter sights in. The barrel shroud weighs nocely and offers enhanced stability when aiming. The trigger is very smooth. I am please with my purchase as I wanted to add a German rifle to my collection and am every bit glad that I did! For future purchases, I will be highly inclined to go with well built and reputable USA or German made guns.
Pros
Great German quality.
Cons
Just the packaging otherwise no issues or concerns with the rifle.
Question?
Login to ask someone who bought this product.what brand scope is this sold with
asked jimAny scope that is sold with a gun is always the same brand as the gun.
Scott from USADoes it have T06 trigger?
asked Brandon SynYes, this magnificent refurbished air gun has the T06 trigger!
C. from USAIs this gun very, very quite using lead pellets after break in?
asked KenKen, Simple answer, No. Take a book about 2"X 12" hold it level about 3' off a wood floor then drop it. That is what it will sound like, very close. Now I have noticed a heaver pellet seems quieter...Outside it is like clapping your hands.
Steve from USA
Airgun Depot did a great job getting me this rifle. The price and shipping were unbeatable my order couldn't of went any better. The rws showed up this gun has some beef to it.Very solid and well put together.Scope mounting went smoothly and is very clear.First shots out of the gun made a four inch group at 40yds some tweaking from there and I was in a 1 inch group quickly with great repeatability.
Pros
This rifle is heavy duty and built to last.
Cons
Not to crazy about the safety don't care for location or the plastic.
