Adding a touch of traditional craftsmanship to this budget friendly rifle is a polished hardwood stock with checkered pistol grip and fore-end.
Resting atop the stock is the patent-pending Nucleus Integrated Rail Platform surrounds the gas piston chamber to reducing noise, vibration and maintain your scope’s zero. The Forge’s long Picatinny rail gives you many options for optics, or shoot right out of the box with the fiber optic sights and makes mounting the 4x32 scope effortless.
Chambered in .177, the Forge uses Umarex’s Turbo Nitrogen Technology gas piston to send alloy pellets downrange at 1250fps all while quieted by the SilencAir system’s 5-chamber noise dampener.
If you’re looking for a handsome breakbarrel loaded with Umarex’s latest developments, choose the Forge!

Disappointing air rifle wouldn’t purchase
Pros
Look like a solid rifle
Cons
Not accurate grouping when firing pellets
Pros
Loved the way the gun looked dead on shot
Cons
Had gun for one week and one day and had to call and send the gun back something happened to the air chamber when u broke barrel to out pellet in it all of a sudden was to weak then shoot the pellet and it came out weak and slow very sad I liked this gun
Pros
this is a nice rifle.. Has a nice wood stock.. and yes it has some plastic.. it feels good to hold and aim.. It loves air arms diabolo field 8.4 gr pellets.. it is worth $100 more than i paid..
Cons
I have thought about this.. there is nothing to change.. If you want a great shooting rifle this is the one..
I purchased this rifle for small game. I have the .22 (5.5mm). This gun is a tack driver inside 45 yards. Have made head shots with open sights. Any shot to any small game vital area is meat on the table.
Like this gun hits hard accurate nice Finnish well worth the money
Pros
Light just the Right size to Carrie around for hunting or plinking nice scope .
Cons
None
I received the rifle and it was beautiful. Great stock and high quality. I ordered it because none of the other great rifles had OPEN SIGHTS. Unfortunately it was ver loud. I am used to my old Benjamin 22 cal, which I can shoot in my back yard all day without being heard by my neighbors but this Umatex CRACKED almost as loud as a 22 short. No way I can shoot in my back yard. I Took it back and was sad to give it up. Other than being too loud it is a very good buy.
Pros
Open sights. Wonderful wooden stock. Easy to cock
Cons
Way TOO LOUD
This rifle is quiet. backyard friendly, easy to cock, very accurate, looks real nice just like the picture. I have been shooting this rifle at 25 yds. with open sites only. Out of the box was very accurate and I have not had to make any adjustments with sites. May or may not attach the scope open sites very accurate.
Question?
Login to ask someone who bought this product.adjustable trigger
asked fred from USAOnly to change the length of the first stage. It does not affect the pull weight. This is per the manual.

I absolutely recommend this rifle but be prepared to improve the trigger if you want to do serious target work with it.
Pros
Overall build quality. Feel of the wood stock. SilencAir works great. Gun has great potential and is currently one of my favorites in my "arsenal". Shoots for me about 3/4" with RWS Hobby pellets at 15 yards. Love the optics rail and there's plenty of it. Plenty of power for what most people will do with an air rifle. It got easier and easier to cock about 300 rds. in.
Cons
I take away one star for the trigger it is atrocious. Mine breaks between 8-9 lbs. It is modifiable and I bought a spring assortement to fix this issue. Once I ge the pull to a more reasonable weight the groups should improve.
