I've had rifles since I was 10 growing up on a cattle ranch on the Oregon coast. When I moved to KCMO, I had a hard time finding places to shoot. Bought a corpsman 2100b for practice but to much hassle to pump 10 times for every shot. Found a corpsman fury at wal- mart for a c-note. Man, what a rifle! Possum raccoons and squirrels don't stand chance out to 60yards. Pinpoint accuracy at 50 plus yds. 5 shot groups under dimesize at that range with a good rest.I've had it for 3 years and it hasn't missed a beat! Shoots most pellets well but it really likes gamo's red-fire pellets. The super-fast light weight pellets are useless.restores are the best all-around.very fun to shoot and excellent pest and small to medium game Hunter. Even got my wife to start shooting with me. Mike, neighborhood pest controller .

Pros
Excellent accuracy good energy at impact. Light weight. Quiet enough to use in city limits

Cons
Weak scope replaced with a good Bushnell. Long trigger pull.

I would like to start by saying that the scope is junk. I bought a new scope for it, and it is insane, I have hit shots over 100 yards away, just shooting at pop cans anyways. I have killed squirrels and birds over 50 yards though. I wish that it came in .22 cal. For better knockdown power. It's an excellent gun. But the only drawback is that the pellets drop fast.

The crosman fury is a well made gun I didn't like how it had no open sights though. The scope that came with it is pretty low quality. But the gun must be pretty good cause I was hitting pop cans at 60 yards. I am using Benjamin hollow point pellets they are pretty accurate and flat shooting in this gun.

Pros
Accurate (with the right pellets) Hard hitting killed lots of birds and muskrat Easy to cock

Cons
Bad scope

This gun is fantastic when it hits it target. I suggest taking it to a shooting range to sight it in. I had to because i couldn't do it and it wouldn't work. The scope is nice. After that it was a hard hitting squirrel killing machine. I recommend Gamo Rocket pellets.

Pros
Hard hitting, and always accurate

Cons
Hard to sight in

Good gun for the money. Very accurate out to 25-30 yards. Have dispatched a dozen or so squirrels and four skunks. Lead pointed pellets work best and are much quieter than alloy pellets. Scope has stayed dead on after over 150 rounds.

Pros
Accurate and scope has held very well.

Cons
Looonnnggg trigger pull.

Hello - Would you happen to know the cocking effort for this Crosman Fury? Thank you-

asked steve from USA

It is nitro piston or spring piston? The specs and the Features are different

asked Caleb

Do you need a gun license to you this on private property

asked Trina Gammell

Depends on where you live. Laws vary on use and possession of air guns. In some places, they are classified as weapons. Federal law does not consider them firearms, but some states do. You need a firearms ID card to buy one in Il. and N.J. They are banned in all 5 boroughs of NYC. Laws vary from one jurisdiction to another.. First search your state's laws. Use search terms like "weapons" "Prohibited weapons," etc. See what state law says. If state law says OK, then check your local city or county ordinances. I'm betting that your state and local ordinances are all available online.

The "G" Man

Its important that you check with your local law enforcement, but as as a rule of thumb you should always have written permission from the land owner on which this gun will be used....
