Can't wait to get more guns
Pros
Gun is amazing
Cons
Wouldn't change a thing
I personally would recommend this gun. Looks and feels good, sounds good. If you have an issue send it back. Good customer service. You can talk to a real person.
Pros
Well i Have had the Dan Wesson 715 6 inch barrel in gun metal for over a year. Good fit, good weight, grips are comfortable, easy to load as I just swing out the cylinder and put pellets in. Nothing loose and is accurate. I use for stray dog and cat deterrent, works well. I personally have had none of the issues others have noted and I use it a couple times a month for plinking sessions.
Cons
Needs more power, so a heavier pellet will work better. Or just buy a springer rifle.
I do not recommend this revolver. Very cheaply made.
Pros
One thing I liked was weight and feel of the revolver.
Cons
This gun was very disappointing to me. First the packaging, stirofoam, it's all over the gun. Second the co2 screw is all loose, like they put in wrong size of nut. Wil have to modify. Third the handle is loose in the closed position, need to put a lastic around it, Fourth it missfires all the time and also jams with the bullets that come with it. Not worth what it cost me. Joseph.
I was actually very surprised this gun turned out to be so accurate. I was able to put together a one inch grouping at about 15 yds. Love the mock shells!
Pros
Very accurate and then some!
Cons
None.
This gun looks amazing. Thats where the fun stops for me. The pellets load by unscrewing the tips of the cartridges off and loading the pellets in the tips and screw them back on. Well thats nice but the pellets fall out the tips if held other than horizontal to the ground. You can just load the pellets directly in the tips without unscrewing the cartridges. I ordered some 4.51 and 4.52 mm pellets to see if these secure the pellets better but im not holding my breath. Also after loading the carts perfectly i had at least one or two of the six rounds not expel the pellet. The gun looks so good but takes so long to load and get good shots its very disappointing even with the 12 additional rounds you can buy. The power is also suspect. At 10 seconds between shots i had some pellets not penetrating cardboard at 15 feet. It seemed grossly underpowered.
Pros
Looks great
Cons
Low power. Horrible loading and holding of pellets. A magazine though not authentic would have made this gun much more user friendly and fun. Over priced for a gun i just dont want to waste my time shooting. Of the 7 pellet guns i have this is the most expensive but least enjoyable to shoot.
Was looking for one of the highest fps and Dan Wesson @ 410 fit the bill. Pair it with Skenco Blue Arrow pointed pellets and you have a winner. The first 50 rounds destroyed an old style coffee can with multiple penetrations and dozens of deep craters.
Pros
Realistic feel, look and quality
Cons
The hammer could be tighter.
If you want the look and feel of the real gun this is as close as you will get without actually having the real gun... very realistic in size, weight and funtionality. It is an all around fun gun to shoot.
Pros
realistic, well built fun to shoot
Cons
plastic grips, the downside of all air handguns.
Question?
Login to ask someone who bought this product. Can the rear loading cartridges from the Dan Wesson 715 pistol be used with this pistol? It would make reloading much easier.
asked Gary from USAI like to know if the barrel is riffled the entire length of 5.5" or only 2.5 " and the rest going forward, is oversized tube?
asked Mark from USAEverything I have found on this gun the actual rifled barrel is between 2 1/2 & 2 3/4 inches long. The rest is open barrel. I was looking at this for the dart shooting but I am now thinking about the 4 inch since the actual rifled barrel is so short.
Steve from USACan this Dan Wesson use the full brass pellet shells?

Pros
Its a great little revolver. It has a great feel and weight to it. I would not recommend for pest control.
Cons
the valve to let in the c02 broke on me after 2 months, and it is impossible to find parts to replace it.
