These stocks are Sepatia, also called Indonesian walnut, They are so porous and light weight that they are fragile. They seem to only be about 2 steps above balsa!! Numerous buyers have received them cracked and or broken, Mine was actually broke completely into 2 peices when I received it. Evanix knows that theres a problem and their answer was to put a screw through the stock to reinforce the grip area where they all break, the condition that mine was in is proof that the so called fix doesn't work. Really a shame because when regulated down just a bit they become tack drivers, but dont expect 1/2 inch groups outta the box at 50yds because they are shooting so hot that you will have pellet stability issues at ranges over 30 yds even with 28 grain Eujins, I installed a Altaros regulator, set the gun to 47 ft pounds and now i'm getting 1/2 inch groups consistently out to 75 yards.
Pros
Very accurate when regulated down a bit
Cons
Very brittle/fragile stock..they really need to offer it with a synthetic stock.. IMO it would be worthy of 5 stars if they did
I have the Rainstorm ii in both 30 cal. and the 357 cal. I would say they are both very accurate and have held up well so far. The 357 has a strong punch out to about 150 yards and right on target. Last season dropped a small buck with one shot at about 60 yards. Fun gun.

OMG!!! I served in the US Army for over 20 years and law enforcement for 9 years. I wouldn't listen to anyone trying to educate me on "air guns" Some five years later, I see videos of folks killing rabbits, hogs, deer and even hunting bigger game in Africa ...... with AIR GUNS!!!
I got the Evanix Rainstorm II in .25 caliber. It is a hammer! A tack driver! Crazy accurate and powerful!!!
Pros
Well built - clean, proportional, accurate and powerful.
Cons
Pretty heavy in weight to be lugged around hunting for long time.
