Before deciding on this gun, I read the reviews to grasp the concern of other owner. The main aspect was the scope nobody seemed to like. So when I order the gun , I order a better scope. I can not attest to the value of the original scope , as I have not used it ,but inspecting it , its seem like a nice scope .After setting up the rifle ,the first time I cocked it , I was taken aback as to hard it was to cock. But after doing it few times, it became easier . First couple of shots I used to zero in my scope . Then I managed bulls eye shots every time there after, at 25 yards, then 50 yards, then 65 yards. The accuracy of the Hatson 125 is awesome .
Pros
Powerful with .22 ammo - accurate at medium ranges.
Cons
Pretty heavy rifle -invest in a bi or tri-pod . Much more accurate if can be held study .
After purchasing a Benjamin trail NP XL .22 rifle which was not consistent in accuracy, barrel shroud falling off and poor trigger, I sent it back to Airgun Depot in exchange for the Hatsan 125 vortex. What a difference. So far a solidly built rifle, accurate with 1 inch consistency at 30 yards (with a UTG sniper scope....same one I had on the Benjamin) and and all parts stay intact and a nice Quattro trigger. Lots of power and accuracy solid built, what more can you ask for. Perhaps lighter weight. With the scope its a bit unwieldy.
Pros
Build quality. Power. Accuracy.
Cons
Heavy.
Bought this to rid my yard of unwanted pests. It does the job. Hard hitting impact. Hit a crow at 65 yards and it was lights out.
Pros
Hard hitting. Built solid.
Cons
Could be more accurate at longer distances. Wish my mod had come with sling. It needs one.
Bought this in .25. Thought about getting a pcp, but didn't want to drop the $ on gun and accessories. Sighted scope in at 30 yards, then dropped a bird at 35. Has good knockdown power. Scope could have been better, but not bad for an included one. Mainly bought this one Bc it looks identical to my Gamo .177 (so wife can't tell difference)....and needed the power to rid the squirrels that get in father in laws attic. Never have tried squirrel, but plan too soon!
Pros
Power, accuracy
Cons
A little heavy, scope not great.
This thing is a serious knock out for small game.
Pros
Awesome awesome awesome
Cons
None
Very great shooting and powerful gun
My 125 started to group tightly after about 75 rounds. Quarter size group are now down to nickel size after about 150 rounds at 15 yds .Great power and accurate gun. Good value for the money. But scope is junk. Up grade to a better one.
Pros
Powerful and accurate
Cons
Combo scope supplied is junk.
Great gun for the money. Most of my guns are pcp this is my first air piston. Cocking effort is high, bur power is very good. Still breaking in, accuracy is ok.
Pros
lots of gun for the money
Open sights are excellent
Scope is ok
Cons
heavy cocking effort
out of the box i was out having fun.. with in 40 yards it was very accurate
Pros
knock down punch
Cons
a little heavy and trigger sting
Question?
Login to ask someone who bought this product.I am looking to upgrade from a .177 to a .25 and like the Hatsan mod 125. I live in Puerto Rico. Do you ship Air Rifles to the islands and pellets too, since they are difficult to get here. Please let me know, I am looking forward in getting this rifle. We have too many iguanas that are now pest I need the power and long distance of 50 to 60 yards.
asked Juan from USAConsidering this rifle as a first time air gunner. I am short in reach and wondering what the length of pull is on this gun?
asked TerryWhere is this gun made.

Greg from USAI ordered the .177 today i dont know if it was in stock how do i know if i ordered it and it was in stock when i try to track it it comes up with error
asked matthewI think it's a pre-order . Do yourself a favor cancel the.177 and get the.22 or.25 I've had the spring piston sniper model in .25 caliber it's a great pellet rifle the .22 has the same power plant. The 177 doesn't pack the punch. I'm no expert on pellet rifles but I know power. So unless you want the.177 for a reason get the.22 or.25
Greg from USAWhat is the difference between the Hatsan model 125 sniper vortex, and the regular 125 vortex regular not being sniper beside the price?
asked Peter from USAThe stock is adjustable.... I have the spring version in .25 it's faster than the vortex 850 fps. It's a power house. Change the scope you can hit 75 yards consistently further with practice
Greg from USAHave heard that it is faster and more power than the Benjamin T/F . Also the weight appears the same what about the vibrations any issues? I will buy one of these rifles just undecided.
asked [email protected].25 - Out of the box, first shot = bird kill at 30 yds using 28.40 grain Barracuda Hunter Extreme hollow points. This thing is a hammer.
GSWell you heard right, if you know how to shoot this thing will set you on your ass, and with the right pellet and weight you cant miss at 75 yards, this thing is a absolute beast and made to last a lifetime, it makes the rugar air magnum seem like a dart gun, Hatsan rates fps using Lead pellets, I use beman 28's and the chrony is telling me 784 to 814 fps in .25 cal., that's hard hitting news for a 25 cal., group of less than a half inch at 75 yds, want a gun that shoots get one of these.
