HOLY S__T1is what I think I said when I first shot this rifle.. I was used to a .22 caliber marauder .Not bad on power, I made many a 100yard crow shot with the MARAUDER but compared to the BT 65 QE is like comparing my AK-47 to my .22 caliber RUGER rimfire rifle. The HATSAN HAS LEGITIMATE 170+ yard range. I nailed a dove on top of a telephone pole 162 yards away with my BT65QE. It is something I would shoot at a lot and I figured out the hold-over having taken so many shots at the ceramic bells on the telephone pole before. The ceramic bell sounds like a xylophone when struck so I knew where to aim. Anyway extremely accurate and one of the MOST POWERFUL .25 caliber AIR RIFLES ON THE PLANET AT ANY PRICE .
Pros
POWER ACCURACY
Cons
WEIGHT HATSAN CUSTOMER SERVICE IS IMPOSSIBLE TO REACH
Great rifle if u plan on hunting. Very accurate & powerful. I was suprised & very happy with the power of this rifle.
Pros
Everything !!!?
Cons
Its a little heavy but not a problem.
I bought the .25 hatsan guite eng first of all it is guite an this thing is a squirrel getter an is deadly on the target range I shoots out to 65 yrd an gets a good 2" group
Pros
Plenty of power an deadly on targets built well an just plain fun to shut ,an is a great aqurrel gun
Cons
Non so
On first impression thought I should have opted for wood stock as I have many wood stock pcp's but after getting to know this gun I kinda like this thing. Still would go for wood stock because Hatsan makes some nice wooden stocks. Would be nice if wood QE guns would be very welcome and I would buy them in bt65 guise. Compared to elite this gun is lighter and with the right scope (true hunter 6-24-50 is one I recommend) and long range shooting is a breeze. Make sure you lube and prep when you get one and everything will be smooth as silk.
Pros
Lite weight, power, price , Hatsan's ability to build the most accurate line of pcp's,no guns on the market world wide.
Cons
not in wood also.
very powerful & accuracy at 40yds ,1' grouping. 1250fps with lead pellets.any gun with speed more than acoustic speed(1120fps) is really powerful
you don't need to search anywhere for powerhunting with accuracy except hatsan BT65SB QE,it is silent eliminator. stock is of fibre to keep weight low
Question?
Login to ask someone who bought this product.¿Cuantos joules tiene? Cuanto es su peso en kilogramos?
asked Sebastian from MexicoThe Hatsan shoots at 88 joules and weighs 4.25 Kilos.
Mark from USAWhere can I get a walnut stock
asked PaulWhat scope would work good with this gun? Or what scope do you guys use that works well.
asked SkylerWhy is it impossible to get this gun with open sights?
asked Elvin Davis Sr.How dose this gun stack up aginst the marauder .25 as far as accuracy and fps?
asked shawn tulltwice as powerful ust as accurate
Terence O'LeeHow loud is it compared to a spring piston gun?
asked Stephen from USAI'll say is 25% louder than a spring gun(not nitro piston)
GokuAbout 1/2 to the shooter and 1/3 down range remember no thump....
Matthew from USAwell a spring pistol or rifle is always going to give off that loud "Tang" sound cause your using metal not so much air to propel that pellet down the barrel.Clap your hands together one time, that's about the sound your going to get from this Hatsan rifle when it's fired. now take a good size phone book, get up about 8ft. off the ground and drop it onto a hard flat surface, that's about the difference, without firing the 2 different weapons separately together, your not really going to get the same idea as far as sound goes. My suggestion is that you contact an Air Rifle/Pistol store near you and ask some serious questions, go contact AirGuns of Arizona, ask to speak to Dan or Kip, they will have the answers you are looking for. Good luck to you.
Tony DeleanoThe smaller caliber rifles (.177 and .22) are generally much quieter than a springer. The .25 caliber can vary sometimes, but is still quieter than some.
ShaneWhat hand pump, that you sell, would go with this rifle?
asked WillMan you've got to be nuts not to get a carbon fibre tank in order to fill this pcp rifle. I've got an FX 500 25 cal. this is a sweet piece of goods, paid $1,700.00 and it is the quietest and most accurate rifle,PCP, I have ever owned. I paid about 600.00 for the carbon fibre tank, it cost me $5.00 maybe 2 or 3 times a year to fill my tank up, who the heck is going to pump a pcp up for 90 strokes !! Seriously dude, you won't last 20 minutes doing the hand pump thing. And enjoy your Hatsan, had one, piece of junk in my opinion, but that's just my opinion.
Tony DeleanoAll will work. the Benjamin work pretty good will take 90 pumps to fill. will need to put quick fill male probe $10 at any paintball store.
Lawrence from USA

Pros

Cons
