Hatsan's newest addition to the Nova platform offers numerous upgrades over its predecessor, including lighter weight, higher velocities and more shots per fill. Weighing in at 8.4 lbs., the Hatsan NeutronStar is almost a pound and a half lighter than the Nova and features an ergonomic thumb hole stock made of high-quality Turkish maple. It also adds a height-adjustable comb, increased muzzle energies and velocities. According to Hatsan, maximum muzzle velocities of 1300 FPS (.177), 1125 FPS (.22) and 1050 FPS (.25) are achievable, alongside maximum muzzle energies of 37 FPE (.177), 47 FPE (.22) and 54 FPE (.25). With numbers like these, it?s a suitable target shooter, pest eliminator and small game hunter. The Hatsan NeutronStar PCP air rifle also features an adjustable Quattro Trigger, fully shrouded barrel, a 480cc carbon fiber air cylinder and Hatsan?s patented Anti-Knock System, which helps prevent wasting gas when the rifle is knocked or bounced. It even has a spare magazine storage compartment built into its stock.

Pros
Was about to purchase until I read reviews and noted discrepancy, i.e. states Neutron Star is improvement over Nova, however Gun displayed clearly shows it is a NOVA. Bait and switch?

Cons
Could not find a spare magazine for the Neutron star on this site

This gun is heavy.

Pros
Very well built sturdy extremely accurate and hits like a hammer.

Cons
The rail underneath is made of plastic aluminum would have been a better choice.

If u r looking for an accurate gun, this is the one. Even if you use cheap Premier pellets, it will give u same accuracy as JSB ones.

Pros
Amazing gun, accurate and feels very good in hands. Have .177 cal and it give around 90 good shots with bottle filled at 250 bars.

Cons
None.

This is the most beautiful and lightweight airgun I ever had. It's a display worthy in living room and even lighter than high end expensive pcp I had. Very accurate with H&N and JSB pellets. Tested with slugs but not nearly as accurate grouping as pellets but got more power to smack targets. If you're into pcp market for beautiful wood stock, accurate, affordable, lightweight, features packed, i think this is the one you won't regret to get for .25 caliber class. Make sure to fill with Nomad II air pump for faster filling unless you're a strong man. Scope mount i recommend medium to high and a Hawke Sidewinder ffp, new Athlon ffp or Element Titan ffp would be perfect pair for this class of airgun. I settled with Bushnell Forge for now but will change soon. Other than my. 25 gauntlet and .25 vectis, this Neutronstar I use mostly for target practices 30 to 100 yds. I also recommends DonnyFL Tanto or Tatsu for queiter operation. Overall a very nice airgun to own and collect.

Pros
Beautiful Turkish stock, smooth sidelever action, light weight, adjustable cheek, nice hunting trigger, balanced perfectly with carbon fiber bottle, high shot counts.

Cons
Almost none basically.

I already gave a 177 and 25 cal Hatsan nova. I loved both of these and had to get a 22 cal.i got the Hatsan nova neutron Star and it has one of the most beautiful stocks of any of the other 23 PCP’s That I own. The quality is exceptional, accuracy and power is there also. I would highly recommend this rifle to anyone who does not want to overpay For a PCP. This is very reasonable for a quality air rifle, you won’t be sorry.

Pros
Beautiful stock, accurate, smooth action, same quality , I think, as my $2000 PCP?s. Very quiet also.

Cons
A little on the heavy side, but not too heavy.

The gun is a beautiful gun. Looks to be of high quality. I didn't give it a five rating because I haven't used it yet and I had ordered a scope that wasn't in my posession until a week ago. Now the weather has turned frigid so I may not site it in until warmer weather returns. I expect it will shoot as good as it looks.

Pros
Well made, carbon fiber bottle, Turkish walnut is beautiful. Can add aftermarket moderator

Cons
A little heavy at 8+ pounds even without scope and bipod which could add a couple more pounds. No regulator

What scope would you recommend for this rifle in .25 caliber. Thanks in advance.

asked Greg from USA

Ideally, i suggest Hawke Sidewinder 30 FFP. I have tried Nikon Prostaff, Hawke Airmax, Bushnell Forge and ATN HD pro. I'm using Bushnell Forge 2.5-15x50 now but will switch to Hawke Sidewinder ffp after next pay check arrived.
