The HW44 is destined for greatness in the field or your backyard range! Based on the action of Weihrauch’s prized HW110, the HW44 gives airgunners the accuracy and repeating power they crave from a PCP air pistol.
Each HW44 uses the same 10-shot rotary magazine as the HW110 and is powered by a 200 BAR/2900 psi cylinder to let its shots fly at 750 fps in .177 and 570 fps in .22. Sent shots screaming downrange with a simple pull of its sidelever to keep shooting. The HW44’s Weaver/Picatinny accessory rail and scope rail give you a lot of choices for optics whether red-dot sights, flashlights, or lasers--a rare sight in PCP pistols. A 2-stage trigger keeps your pulls crisp and clean and the non-removable suppressor keeps your shots quiet.

A great 10 meter or Field Target pistol for the price. The gun is better than most people can shoot.
Pros
This is an excellent PCP pistol for someone able to spend $1000. Mine is a 1.77 and I shoot with either 8+ grain or 10+ grain pellets and get around 700 fps. The pistol is not fussy about pellets and I have shot 1/2" groups at 25 yards outdoors. I have seen comments about the packaging but mine purchased in 2021 to had excellent packaging. I get 30 shots per fill with 1.77 and have purchased a third (it came with 2 which now seems standard) magazine so I can shoot 30 shots and then refill tank and magazines. Loading pellets in the magazines is super simple. The magazines are tight to load and remove but that's good. It is dead silent to shoot (the silencer is included and removable) and has an extremely sensitive 2 stage trigger. The grip and balance are perfect. There seems to be other package configurations in the past but with 2 mags and the silencer this is a great package. You should be very happy with this purchase. I bought mine with a sale package price.
Cons
Nothing.
Had a chance to take this gun for a test shoot this week, it was equipped with a red dot site. I could not believe how easy it was to shoot. First shot at 40 yds dead center in the bullseye. We shot about ten mag full and most of our shots were right on . I’ve gotta get one of these
Pros
Very accurate, well balanced, fabulous trigger. Cheap to shoot
Cons
Nothing
Loading takes a little practice but after a few times it becomes easier. It would have gotten a 5 stars but I have to buy another magazine after this purchase is ridiculous.
Pros
Accurate and well balanced it is quiet compared to my other PCP. Functionality of this gun is excellent.
Cons
I was very surprised and disappointed that it loses air so quick after 1magazines. Also it only comes with 1 magazine for that price.
This gun fills a small niche. If you want a gun that has has is more than a single shot, is very quiet with superior build quality, and have a $1000 for it, this is perfect. If you can sacrifice on any of the above there are probably better options.
Pros
This thing is well built, comfortable to shoot, very accurate, and extremely quiet. 10 Round magazine is really easy to load with pellets and easy to load into the gun after you do it a few times.
Cons
I would have liked the air chamber to be able to shoot both magazines with the air maintained above the regulated pressure. Shots 16-20 start dropping on the .22. I may turn the power down so that I get a few more shots out of it.
This is a $1000 airgun. It is the most money I have ever spent on an airgun, whether it is a rifle or a pistol. I give Airgun Depot 5 stars for customer service. I give Weihrauch 5 stars for a high performance air pistol. But I also give Weihrauch ZERO stars for really lousy packaging of a $1000 product. Come on??!! You package this precision product in an unsealed cardboard box that allows the airgun to bounce around in shipment on its way to the consumer??!! That is completely unacceptable!!! My HW44's polymer frame has wear marks from FedEx shipment abuse. Weihrauch: PLEASE put something this expensive in a better package to protect my precious cargo during shipment. Trust me, us fans of this hobby will appreciate it!!!
Pros
Beautifully made pcp air pistol
Very comfortable in the hand
No issues with the safety or loading the gun as others have mentioned
Amazing accuracy with an inexpensive pistol scope
Cons
Probably the worst factory packaging I?ve seen at ANY price! No factory seal, no padding, no protective plastic wrap around the pistol...in fact nothing to prevent your $1000 investment from bouncing around inside the Weihrauch factory?s crappy box!!!
The pistol is a beautiful piece of work, if you can load it, it's very difficult to load, as it has to be in the exact position inside the breach to turn, and that's not easy to do, it's also not as quiet as I hoped it would be, but it is quieter than most pcp pistols.
i have no regret buying this. i love this pistol. i probably will use my riffle way less now.
Pros
very quiet. feels great in hand. action is smooth and on point every time. trigger is absolutely brilliant! and looks bad ass as well on top of it all
Cons
runs out of air too quick. i can get 18-20 solid consistent shots. slows down just after that.

My little backyard setup. Highly residential area so discretion is necessary.
As u can c I have a Crimson trace CMR-206 Rail Master sight on this so I can literally "shoot from the hip" and be deadly accurate. This is the 1st $1,000 pellet gun I've ever had and before I even shot it I ripped it apart to switch cockin fron a right handed to a lect handed mechenism. Doing this is not for the "faint-hearted". It's actually quite hard to do. Example: I had everything apart but the assembly still wouldn't come out. But if I jiggle it just right the entire "guts" literally slude right out. It seems it's one of those "push down and slide out" tupe of mechanizm. it's a German/computer made object so everything fits exact. DO DON'T FORCE ANYTHING"
anyway, I'm so glad I made it a "Lefthanded" cocking mechanizm. It is now "apart of me" and we work together for the perfect shot. I mean with a CMR-206 Rail Master laser I am in complete control of this Pistol. The CMR-206 is non forgivi
Pros
Once I switched to a "Lefty" cocking mechanizm it was nothing but shear pleasure
Cons
$1000.hey buy I jumped from a $180 Diana Bandit to this. And Im sure glad I did. I never knew plinking could be soo much fun. I mean I get 25 shots between fills. (The Diana Bandit 9 shots) dont get me wrong, I love the simplicity of the bandit. I just never knew that plinking could be as great as with the HW 44. Its quiet as u can get. It loads very easy. I cant say enough about this pistol. The only thing iD change would be is to make the safty quiet. Its so loud it chases the game away. Literally. Once the squirrels here the click of the saftey they are gone. Bummer.
