Well balanced pellet rifle with smooth trigger and no sudden movement like spring operated pellet guns. Shoots great free -handed at 7 yards while not using a bench or bags which is the length of my garage . I can keep my shooting skills up until my gun club opens back up.
Pros
Price, quietness, and accuracy. Great for Left handed shooters like me.
Cons
nothing
The good-Over all the rifle is good quality for the price. Mine is accurate to 10 m with Pirhana 14.53 ft pellets.
The bad- would not hold CO2. Tried oiling with Pellgun oil. So far this has worked after 2 oilings
The fit and finish if the Beeman AR2078 is very nice and the trigger is extremely smooth. I bought this for my son and I to shoot targets and for an entry level gun to practice both Olympic rifle and 1/10 scale silhouette. It fits the bill for everything we use it for and you won't find much better quality and accuracy at this price point.
Pros
Accurate, Smooth Trigger, great value.
Cons
None.
Nice stock. Seems high quality when you hold and shoot.. The sites are cool however the rear site is junk. The left to right clickers only half work and there is not enough up or left adjustment to site it in. I mainly bought it for the cool sites. OH well.
Pros
Trigger feels real good. Very accurate. Fun to shoot. It is based on popular platform.
Cons
Rear site does not allow enough adjustment to site in at 25 yards. I had to off center the front site to site in The rear site is maxed to left and raised to max. The windage clicker is junk from the box. I hope this gun holds up over time.
No Problems, straight SHOOTING Rifle
Pros
Good beginner rifle
Cons
None
This is my third rifle in the QB family. All of them are great shooters, very accurate and trouble free. My 2078 stock is absolutely the best stock on any of my rifles. It feels great in my hands, just a tad heavy, but very solid. It's nicely finished. The .177 size pellets are a bit difficult for me to load, but no scope blocking the loading port makes it easier than some others I have. The bolt got very smooth after some oil and a few hundred pellets. This is a very pellet friendly rifle, by the way, compared to my Hammerli .22 which is pellet fussy. The rear peep sight was a problem because the left/right adjustment was rusted and the bolt was stripped. It still functioned, but not properly. Air Gun Depot made it right to my satisfaction. Using open sights adds another dimension in shooting, one that I really find challenging. This is a wonderful way to explore that facet of our hobby.
Pros
Fit, finish, accuracy, adjustable trigger, price, AGD support.
Cons
A bit of rust; needed oil out of the box. Mine was the Industry Brand, not Beeman.

asked Mike from USAWhat parts of the gun contain lead?
asked David from USAThe receiver /barrel when the gun is loaded and fired contains lead. Most pellets are lead.

Scott from USAThis ok for left hand shooters? The other two look like right hand ONLY ! Pete
asked Pete HallockThe thumbhole is ambidextrous, however the target stocks are not.

I installed an Optima 3-12x50 scope and put the peep sight back in the box. I find it MUCH nicer to shoot with the scope.
The AR is a joy to shoot. What a jewel! LMAO
Pros
I've shot many rifles and this has the best ergonomics ever. It feels natural, and the fit and finish are excellent. The action works smoothly and quietly and the trigger is very nice and about 1 lb pull. I've shot about 300 H&N Field Target Trophy 8.64 gr in the four days since I received it, and it pretty much stacks stem on top of each other from 10 yds. It's quiet and a fine target rifle for backyard shooting paper. 6 lbs of energy however, is insufficient for hunting anything bigger than a frog and all that would be accomplished is injury. But then, one of the reasons I bought the rifle is I like frog legs and it's perfect for a quiet trip down to the pond for a skillet full. LOL The CO2 chamber screw on cap. Be sure to remove the cap and oil the threads before attempting to install cartridges. Mine were dry. The cap did not screw down freely as it should. Also, after installing CO2 and screwing cap down, unscrew cap 1/4 turn to complete pressurization.
Cons
A greater range of adjustments on the sights would be great. It appears most (as I) have found there is insufficient adjustment to correct for a shoot low and right tendency. That can be worked around with some shims and patience though, so it isn't really a big deal. The biggest negative I have about the rifle is that I didn't buy it sooner. heh eh
